Aerial Yoga Classes in Defence Colony
Think yoga is only on a mat? Come hang with me. Aerial yoga uses silks to take the pressure off your spine while building real strength. It is fun, supportive, and helps you feel lighter the moment you step off the hammock.

About Defy Gravity with Aerial Yoga
You might think aerial yoga is just for showing off poses, but it is one of the most practical ways to heal. When you hang in that silk, you are letting gravity do the work of decompressing your spine. This is a game changer if you spend your day hunched over a laptop. You do not need to be flexible to start; the silk is there to help you get there safely.
Why Aerial Yoga Works
Many people come to my Defence Colony studio thinking they need to be extremely fit to try aerial yoga. That is a myth. The silk is your biggest support system. Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain or just want to shake up a boring gym routine, the hammock allows you to hold poses that are often impossible on the floor.
What Happens in a Session
We do not just hang around. We flow. You will build deep core strength because your body is constantly stabilizing against the swinging motion. We use the silks to deepen stretches, allowing you to open up your shoulders and hips in ways that standard mat yoga cannot match. For my students with desk jobs, this is often the only time their spine feels truly 'unpacked'.
Is It For You?
If you are a total beginner, the silk acts like a safety net, helping you trust your body again. For the pros, it is a tool to get deeper into inversions without the usual strain on your wrists or neck. We keep our batches small at the studio, so I can ensure you are wrapped correctly and moving safely. No ego, just movement. Yog se hi hoga (Yoga is the way).
