My Personal Yoga Practice and Journey
Yoga is where I found myself. This is a collection of my practice, the poses I love, and the quiet moments of growth that happen on the mat.
What does "Listen to your body" mean? It means to pay attention, slow down, and honor the sensations you feel. This is a reminder that you don’t need to rush.
This video shows my progress in Pincha Mayurasana from 2019 to today. More than the physical change, I see so much emotional and mental growth. Appreciate the growth that no one else sees.
This is love. A slow morning practice, finding my balance in Pincha Mayurasana.
Every word is true. Practicing Scorpion pose at the Sivananda ashram, the place where my yoga journey truly began.
What an incredible opportunity life is, to get to know myself, discover myself, and fall unconditionally in love with myself. A moment of flow and reflection.
Welcome to my upside down world. Playing with scorpion pose variations in headstand.
Pincha Play. Just having fun exploring different shapes and movements in a forearm stand.
Finding balance can feel like magic. A moment of stillness in a Pincha Mayurasana variation.
What do you do for fun? For me, it's this. A playful flow into a chin stand on a Saturday evening.
My heart feels full of love. A scorpion pincha mayurasana practice, marking a moment of transition and gratitude.
About My Personal Practice & Journey
When you look at these photos of my practice, from Pincha Mayurasana to simple seated flows, please know they aren't about achieving a perfect shape. They are about the years of consistent, slow-paced movement and the joy of finally learning to listen to what my body needs. I teach my workshops exactly like this: we prioritize safe transitions, understand the mechanics of the pose, and honor where your body is today, rather than rushing to where you think it should be.
My mat is my sanctuary. It is where I transitioned from a corporate job to a life that actually feels like my own. When I share images of my practice, I am not showing off a pose I 'conquered.' I am sharing a process of emotional and physical growth.
Why I Teach This Way
I believe yoga should be accessible, even when we are doing challenging work like inversions or backbends. In my workshops across Bangalore, particularly in areas like Koramangala and HSR Layout, we operate on a simple principle: break it down. Whether you are learning to balance in a headstand or finally getting comfortable in a backbend, I ensure you have the props, the spotting, and the patience to learn safely.
What to Expect
- Progressive Learning: We don't just do a pose and move on. My 4-week courses are designed to build your strength and confidence week over week.
- Safe Environment: I use premium studios like Good Move Wellness that provide the right flooring and equipment.
- Community: You will find that my classes are filled with real people—not show-offs. We laugh when we wobble, and we celebrate when we finally lift off.
Yoga is the longest love story you will ever have with yourself. Come join me for a session, and let's explore that journey together.
