Finding Stillness: My Personal Yoga Practice in Nature
Yoga isn't just a class I teach. It is my way of connecting with the universe. Here is where I find my own stillness, away from the studio, in the elements that keep me grounded.
Finding complete stillness amidst the powerful flow of the river. This is meditation, connecting with the constant, unwavering energy of the universe.
In the quiet of this rock cave, I find a deep sense of grounding. My personal sadhana is the foundation of everything I teach.
Meditating by the serene waters of Pangong Tso in Ladakh. The vastness of the landscape reminds us of our own infinite potential.
Feeling the life force of the water. Connecting with the five elements, or pancha bhutas, is a core part of a holistic yoga practice.
A moment of focused meditation, drawing energy from the flowing water. In these moments, my breath and the rhythm of nature become one.
The sound of the river becomes a mantra, the cool air sharpens the mind. This is where I recharge and connect with my Gurus' teachings.
Crouching down to connect with the pure, flowing water. It is a reminder to stay humble and honor the natural forces that sustain us.
About My Personal Practice: Yoga in Nature
The practice shown here isn't just for photos, it is my daily sadhana. When I teach at my Basaveshwar Nagar studio, I bring this exact discipline of breath and detachment into every sequence, whether we are working on therapeutic recovery for an injury or simply finding your calm after a long day.
Nature has always been my greatest teacher. The Pancha Bhutas—the five elements—are not just concepts I talk about, they are the foundation of my own practice. Meditating in the quiet of a cave or by the flow of a river helps me strip away the noise of modern life, and it is this clarity I aim to pass on to every student who walks into my sessions.
Why My Practice Matters for You
I believe that yoga should be an authentic, unwatered-down experience. My approach is rooted in the Integrated Approach to Yoga Therapy (IAYT) from S-VYASA University. This means when you join my classes, you aren't just following a generic routine. You are following a methodology built on deep anatomical understanding and years of dedicated personal practice.
Whether you are joining me for:
- Therapeutic Yoga: We review your medical history and build a protocol tailored to your specific injury or ailment.
- Antenatal Classes: A safe space in Basaveshwar Nagar where we focus on trimester-specific asanas and labor preparation.
- Face Yoga: Nightly sessions designed to integrate sleep hygiene with muscle isolation.
My classes are an extension of my personal life. We focus on showing up, putting in the work, and letting the results come naturally. The universe is yours if you let it be. If you are looking for a community that values discipline over trends, I invite you to join my practice.
