About Urban Workshops & Courses
My Ashtanga foundation courses and weekend intensives are not about perfecting a pose. We focus on the anatomy, the breath, and the Mysore-style discipline that actually helps you show up for yourself, even on the days you really don't want to. You will get hands-on adjustments and enough Q&A time to address those specific aches or practice blocks you have been carrying around.
Yoga often feels like a performance sport in the city, but here, it is just about showing up. I built these workshops for the days when you need to get grounded—whether that is through a rigorous week-long Ashtanga foundation course in Greater Kailash or a one-day urban wellness reset at a farmhouse in Sainik Farms.
What to expect at our sessions:
- Ashtanga Foundations: We break down the primary series, alignment, and anatomy. It is less about doing the full pose and more about understanding what your body needs to get there safely.
- Urban Wellness Collectives: Think sound baths, art therapy, and pottery mixed with flow. These events are about community and resetting your nervous system without the need for a long flight.
- Guest Intensives: I love bringing in teachers like Eddie Stern to share deep-dive philosophy and traditional practice. These are not lectures; they are conversations.
If you are new to yoga, that is actually ideal. My beginner workshops are low-stakes environments. We talk about the burnout, the digital overload, and how to use breathwork to manage the Delhi noise. I do not believe in 'perfect' practice. I believe in practice that sticks, even if that just means showing up and breathing for ninety minutes. If you are looking for a quick fix or an intense fitness goal, this might not be it. But if you are looking for a sustainable way to integrate movement into your actual life, let's talk.
