A glimpse into our yoga retreats, where quiet mountains, disciplined practice, and community come together for a true reset.

A quiet morning meditation session by the holy Ganges in Rishikesh. This is what it feels like to truly disconnect from the noise and reconnect with yourself, surrounded by the mountains and the gentle flow of the river.

Our sangha, our community, sharing a moment of togetherness against the backdrop of the Palampur mountains. People from all walks of life come as strangers and leave as family after a shared journey of yoga and self-discovery.

Finding balance and stillness with an Ardha Matsyendrasana (half spinal twist) practice, overlooking the vast Himalayan landscape. My retreats integrate asana practice with the natural elements, allowing you to breathe deeper and feel more connected.

Personal guidance is key to a safe and deep practice. Here, I am helping a student find a steady and comfortable posture for pranayama, ensuring the spine is erect for the optimal flow of prana, or life-force energy.

The vibrant Kerala Sadya is more than a meal; it is a celebration of community and sattvic living. We serve this traditional feast on a banana leaf, an experience of tastes, colors, and togetherness that nourishes the body and soul.

A moment of surrender and prayer during a Ganapati Homam, a sacred fire ceremony we conduct to remove obstacles on our spiritual path. These rituals create a powerful, positive environment to begin our journey inward.

The joy of yoga is for everyone. In my family retreats, children discover the fun of asana through partner poses and games, learning to connect and support each other in a playful, lighthearted way.

A silent walk through the lush green paddy fields during a mountain retreat. This practice of walking in silence allows us to quiet the mind, observe our surroundings with full awareness, and find peace in every step.

About Featured

Whether you join us in the quiet mountains of Palampur or for a weekend in Delhi, these retreats are stripped of daily distractions. You will follow a set rhythm of asana, pranayama, and meditation, with communal meals that help us reconnect—not just to yoga, but to each other. We intentionally keep these spaces phone-free so you can finally pause, breathe, and find your center.

A Different Kind of Break

Most people look for a vacation to escape reality, but my retreats are designed to help you return to it. Over the last 30 years, I have seen that burnout often comes from living without rhythm. These retreats, whether held in heritage homestays in Palampur or green sanctuaries around Delhi-NCR, provide that rhythm.

What to Expect

  • Structured Days: We do not believe in lying by the pool. Our days begin early with meditation and Satsang, followed by 90-minute asana sessions rooted in the Sivananda 12-posture sequence. This is about physical health, yes, but also about building the mental discipline to stay present.
  • Sattvic Living: We share pure, balanced vegetarian meals. Many guests find the communal dining format—often sitting together and sharing a traditional Kerala Sadya—to be as nourishing as the yoga itself. It is a simple, effective way to detox the body and mind.
  • Community (Sangha): You will not be practicing alone. Our retreats attract people from all walks of life. Whether we are walking silently through paddy fields or chanting during a fire ceremony, the goal is to form a genuine community. You will leave with new friends and a refreshed perspective.

Practical Details

We keep our group sizes intimate to ensure personal correction during asana practice. If you are a beginner, do not worry; our retreats are inclusive. If you are an experienced practitioner, you will find enough depth in our pranayama and philosophy sessions to challenge your current practice. Please come prepared to unplug, eat simply, and engage with the teachings.

I started these retreats because I saw so many of us running on empty. My aim is simple: to help you pause, breathe, and find your own center through authentic Sivananda practice and the warmth of a true community.
