About Yoga Teacher Training
Why I Teach Yoga
Yoga’s not just about stretching or fancy poses, yaar. For me, it’s feeling at home in your own skin — alive and steady, even with all the circus life throws at us. If you’re searching for something deeper, something that brings you back to yourself, that’s what I love to share.
What Makes Our Training Different
- Rooted in the Sivananda tradition, this isn’t just another yoga certificate. I want you to experience real change, inside and out.
- There’s a big focus on discipline and self-understanding, not just memorizing postures.
- We hold the idea of Guruḥ sākṣāt paraṁ brahma close to heart: your teacher is your gateway to deeper learning, not just a coach.
Training Options
- 200-Hour Foundation: Suits absolute beginners or anyone wanting to go deep. Covers asanas, pranayama, yoga philosophy course content, mantra, teaching skills, and karma yoga.
- Weekend batches in Gurgaon for city folks.
- Full one-month Gurukula yoga immersion in Palampur mountains if you want the real ashram vibe.
- 300-Hour Advanced: Only if you’ve done 200 hours before. More intense — advanced asanas, pranayama, study of Vedanta, Yoga Sutras, and a proper detox for mind and body.
Living and Learning Together
- It’s like living in a big joint family — we eat, learn, and laugh together. Satsang and spiritual community matter as much as the practice.
- Everyone wears yellow and white — simple, but it sets the mood for learning (and saves time deciding what to wear).
- The food? Simple, tasty, and nourishing. Makes you feel light.
Who’s Teaching
I’m Arun, 30+ years in this game, and I love making yoga real and relatable. Alongside me, you’ll meet Dyutima and a few other wise souls — all here to support you, no drama.

My Story
We started way back in 2004, but honestly, our roots go deeper. Thirty years teaching, and still, every day feels new. Life’s busy, folks feel restless, so we made this space—no fancy studio vibes, just real talk and yoga. Sundays with Arun? That’s not your usual yoga class, it’s chai, chat, and figuring out life together. We hold tight to our gurus’ teachings, share meals, help each other out. It’s more than yoga. It’s sangha, it’s family. Om Shanti.
