About Weekend Wellness Escapes

These retreats are a full day reset, running from 9 AM to 5 PM, which means you get the depth of an ashram experience without the hassle of overnight travel. You will practice four guided asana sessions, enjoy organic vegetarian meals, and most importantly, surrender your phone at the door to experience a true digital detox in a green, quiet sanctuary.

We understand that life in the city moves fast, and often, the biggest barrier to mindfulness is our constant connectivity. Our weekend wellness escapes are held in serene local sanctuaries, such as the Gnostic Centre in Bijwasan, chosen specifically for their ability to quiet the mind.

A Structured Day of Stillness This is not a casual drop-in class. We follow a disciplined, traditional rhythm. Your day starts early and includes two 90-minute asana sessions focused on the Sivananda 12-posture sequence. Between sessions, we integrate Yoga Nidra for deep rest, nature walks to reconnect with the earth, and introductory lectures on managing the stresses of modern living.

Sattvic Nourishment Food is an essential part of the practice. We serve wholesome, organic vegetarian meals in a communal setting. We follow a strict sattvic diet—no meat, no garlic, and no onions—to ensure your energy remains balanced throughout the weekend.

Who is this for? Whether you are a seasoned practitioner looking to deepen your practice or a beginner feeling the weight of burnout, this space is open to all. By stepping away from your phone and your inbox for just two days, you create the necessary silence to hear your own thoughts again. These retreats are about more than just physical movement; they are about reclaiming your time, your health, and your peace of mind.

We have been teaching yoga in Gurgaon since 2004, but our approach has always been about more than just asanas. We believe in building a sangha—a community where you can share a meal, ask hard questions, and find a bit of stillness together.
