Retreats: Journeys to the Self in Rishikesh
These retreats in the heart of Rishikesh are about more than just a break. They are opportunities to quiet the mind, reconnect with nature, and return to your own rhythm through daily yoga, silent walks, and deep reflection.
Guiding a pranayama session on a beautiful platform nestled among the trees in Rishikesh. Practicing with the Himalayas in the background and the sound of the Ganga river below is a truly special experience.
Leading a small group in a morning practice during our retreat. My intention is to hold space for each individual's journey, offering guidance while allowing for personal exploration and connection.
The beautiful shala at Oneness Rishikesh, set up for our closing ceremony. This space, with its natural architecture, becomes a sanctuary for our community to gather, share, and celebrate.
Sharing a moment of joy and devotion during a kirtan at our closing ceremony. Music and chanting are powerful ways to connect as a group and open the heart.
Glimpses from a special "Journey" session where we combined asana, kriya, mudra, and mantra. The goal was to move beyond the mind and surrender to the silence and spaciousness within.
Japa, the repetition of a mantra, is a core practice on my retreats. This video shows our group chanting together, using the sound vibration to enter a meditative state and connect to a higher frequency.
Our group practicing Trataka, or candle gazing, during a winter night at the retreat. This powerful cleansing technique helps purify the eyes and the mind, improving concentration and bringing inner clarity.
A meditative walk to the divine Ganga river. These silent walks in nature are a practice of mindfulness, allowing us to connect with the elements and our own inner rhythm.
Finding 'glimmers', or small moments of joy and peace, during our 'Realign' retreat. The simple act of stacking stones becomes a meditation on balance, patience, and presence.
A gentle, restorative session focused on opening, releasing, and making space for the new. The timing of this retreat aligned with the last quarter moon, a perfect energy for letting go.
About Retreats: Journeys to the Self
The images show the beautiful platform, but the practice goes beyond the mat. We spend time in silence walking by the Ganga, sitting for fire rituals, and chanting together in the evenings. These are not just exercise camps. They are intentional spaces to let go of the noise you carry from the city and find the stillness that has been waiting for you all along.
These retreats are journeys to the self. My time in the Himalayas has taught me that nature is the greatest teacher. While the physical practice of asana is part of our days, the true work happens in the quiet moments. We use the silence of the forest to listen to our own thoughts. We use Japa or mantra repetition to anchor the mind when it feels scattered.
Each session is built to guide you from the frantic energy of your daily life into a state of deep rest. Whether it is the Trataka (candle gazing) practice or the morning walks by the river, every activity is chosen to help you reconnect with your own rhythm.
You do not need to be an experienced yogi to join us. You only need a willingness to show up for yourself. We create a container where you can be honest about where you are, knowing you are supported by the group. By the time we depart, the goal is not to have perfected a pose, but to have cleared a little space in your heart and mind to carry that mountain peace back home with you.

I am Aishwarya. I left the corporate world behind to find the healing I was so desperately seeking in my own practice. Now, I simply share what helped me, guiding you through breath, movement, and silence in the mountains I call my second home.
