Half of every class at SAMA is dedicated to finding stillness. Step away from the noise and into our device-free sanctuary in Whitefield, where we use breathwork, sound healing, and restorative postures to quiet the mind.

A glimpse into the deep calm of our evening Yin Yoga class. We believe that unplugging yourself for a few minutes is the best way to reset, and our dimly lit, serene environment is the perfect place to do just that.

Our Sound Breath classes are a SAMA exclusive, offered on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This practice combines gentle Restorative Yoga with specific breathwork techniques to reduce stress, anxiety, and worries.

Surrender to the bliss of a sound bath. In our monthly sessions, you simply lie down and let the therapeutic vibrations of gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments wash over you, promoting deep relaxation and mental clarity.

If you struggle with sleep, our 'Sleep Better' series can help. We focus on calming the mind before bedtime through gentle evening yoga, helping you disconnect from the day's stress and prepare for a restful night.

A gentle reminder that rest is not a reward you must earn. It is an essential part of the work itself. Here, our members transition from movement into a state of mindful rest, integrating the benefits of their practice.

The longest and most important journey is the one inwards. Our guided meditation sessions provide a quiet, supportive space to begin that journey, starting small and staying consistent.

At SAMA, at least half of every class is dedicated to our signature Calm Mind Practice. Here, a member demonstrates the peaceful focus we cultivate as we slow our thoughts and breathe with awareness.

About this collection

You will notice there are no mirrors in our practice rooms. This is intentional. Without a reflection to critique, you are free to focus entirely on the physical sensations and the quiet rhythm of your breath, allowing your mind to settle rather than compete.

At SAMA, we believe that true rest is not a reward to be earned after a long day; it is an essential component of your health. Our 'Stillness Within' sessions are designed to act as a counterweight to the fast-paced, screen-heavy lives we lead in Bangalore.

The Calm Mind Approach

We dedicate at least 50% of every class to a Calm Mind Practice. This is where the real work happens. Rather than focusing on calorie burn or aesthetic outcomes, we guide you through techniques that regulate your nervous system:

  • Yoga Nidra: A form of guided yogic sleep that helps reset your mental state.
  • Sound Healing: We use the vibrations of Himalayan singing bowls and gongs to induce deep relaxation.
  • Restorative Yoga: Using bolsters and props to support the body, allowing you to hold poses longer and release deep-seated tension.

Why Practice With Us?

  • Digital Detox: We require all smartphones and smartwatches to be stored in secure lockers upon entry. This creates a physical boundary between you and your obligations.
  • Small Batches: Our classes are capped at 10-12 students. This ensures that you aren't just another face in the room; our instructors can offer personal adjustments and ensure you are comfortable, especially during restorative holds.
  • Accessible to All: You do not need to be flexible or experienced to start. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, sleep issues, or simply looking to disconnect, our classes in Siddapura and Hopefarm are designed to meet you where you are.

We don't offer a quick fix, but we do offer a consistent space to help you find your rhythm.
