About this collection
Restorative yoga at Hamsa is not about pushing your physical limits. It is about using props like bolsters, straps, and blocks to support your body so you can hold poses longer and release tension without strain. Whether you are recovering from a long workday or just need to quiet your mind, these sessions are designed to help you settle into stillness comfortably.
Our approach to restorative and mindful yoga is built on the belief that wellness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. In our JP Nagar studio, we focus on helping you turn your attention inward.
We frequently incorporate specialized practices into our restorative schedule, including:
- Insight Yoga: A unique practice where you keep your eyes closed to heighten your other senses and deepen your connection with your body.
- Breathwork & Kumbhaka: We guide you through breath retention and pranayama techniques designed to calm the nervous system and reset the mind.
- Yoga Nidra: Often referred to as yogic sleep, these sessions are perfect if you struggle with insomnia or high stress, as they guide you into a state of deep relaxation.
Because we know that real life can be hectic, we keep our studio atmosphere quiet and supportive. You will find plenty of sunlight and a non-judgmental environment where the only goal is to leave feeling lighter than when you walked in. We provide all the necessary props—wheels, blocks, straps, and cushions—so you just need to bring yourself. Our instructors provide live, physical corrections to ensure you are practicing safely, which is particularly helpful if you are new to mindful movement.
Hamsa Yoga
At Hamsa, we believe your mat should be a sanctuary. We focus on creating a non-judgmental space where you can let go of the noise, breathe, and actually connect with yourself.
