Why I Created Sama

My own mind gets noisy sometimes - phones buzzing, endless to-do lists, always on the go. Sama (सम) is my way of hitting pause. Here, calm isn’t just a word. It’s something I try to help you feel, even if it’s just for an hour.

What My Calm Mind Studio Is Like

  • Strict no-phone, no-watch zone - sab kuch locker mein (everything in the locker), so you can truly disconnect
  • Natural light everywhere, no mirrors, and no clutter. Each class has its unique vibe with different sounds and scents
  • I keep it simple: Move, Breathe, Meditate

What Happens in Class

  • First half: gentle movement (Asana), so your body unwinds
  • Second half: you choose your calm - could be a guided breathwork session, sound bath relaxation with singing bowls & gongs, or Yoga Nidra for stress relief (sometimes in a hammock - Cocoon Nidra, must try)
  • Sometimes we go deep with Zazen or Vipassana, especially for those wanting to really sit with themselves

Who Can Join

No experience or flexibility required. Age, background, fitness - doesn’t matter. If you’re curious, you’ll fit in.

Beyond Individual Sessions

I also design calm mind experiences for work teams. These can be at the studio or your office, always focused on helping your group slow down and recharge.

People ask, why 'Calm Mind Studio' and not just yoga? We started Sama to make mental health simple. Life’s noisy, right? Phones buzzing, work piling up, brains fried from screens. Most chase fitness, but minds get left behind. We wanted a space to unplug, breathe, and just be. No phones, no distractions, just your hour. Not about posting videos or showing off. Real magic is stepping onto the mat, finding your healthspan, and some real peace.
