Kids Foundation Yoga Batch
Schedule & Batch Details
- Frequency: 12 sessions per month (3 classes per week).
- Duration: 45 to 60 minutes per session tailored to shorter attention spans.
- Batch Size: Cap of 10 to 15 students for safety and individual correction.
Curriculum
- Asana Practice: Foundational poses including Adho Mukha Svanasana (Dog Pose) and Vrikshasana (Tree Pose).
- Advanced Support: Supervision for wall-supported inversions like Sirsasana (Headstand) and rope usage.
- Cognitive Drills: Integration of memory games and focus exercises with physical movement.
Facility
- Studio Access: Well-lit space with marble flooring and large mirrors for self-correction.
- Props: Use of studio yoga blocks and wall ropes included.
- Note: Students must bring their own yoga mat.

Senior & Mobility Chair Yoga
Class Format
- Structure: 3 sessions per week focused on slow-paced, mindful movement.
- Equipment: Standard metal folding chairs provided for seated and supported standing poses.
- Duration: 45 to 60 minutes per class.
Therapeutic Focus
- Joint Mobility: Sukshma Vyayama exercises targeting neck, shoulders, and knees.
- Fall Prevention: Balance drills performed standing next to the chair for stability.
- Modifications: Seated variations of backbends and side stretches to avoid strain.
Supervision
- Safety: SVYASA certified guidance ensuring movements are pain-free.
- Relaxation: End-of-class guided meditation while seated.

Why I Do What I Do
Yoga’s always felt like it should fit into real life - not the other way round. For me, it’s not about touching your toes, but just showing up as you are. I’ve built my programs so that anyone, no matter their age or ability, can find something for themselves.
Yoga for Kids
I love seeing kids discover yoga. Classes are playful and packed with movement, but there's plenty of room for quiet too. We do simple poses, breathwork, and lots of group games. Over time, I notice kids get more focused, flexible, and confident - all without any pressure to be “the best.” Family yoga sessions are a regular thing, and honestly, they’re a lot of fun.
Chair Yoga & Adaptations
Getting on the floor isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. That’s why Chair Yoga is a big part of what I offer. It’s perfect for seniors, anyone with limited mobility, or folks coming back from injury. We use the chair for support and adapt traditional poses so everyone gets a safe stretch. Some days are gentle, some days we push a bit - but there’s always a way to join in.

Hey, we’re Shree Yoga Academy. Started by Madhushree, who’s always off on some adventure or spiritual trip – from Mahakumbh dips to paragliding. For us, yoga isn’t just a class, it’s the way we live – mixing travel, family, and a bit of divine connection. We built this space to help folks find their own joy, strength, and peace. We’re all about sharing good vibes and growing together, one breath at a time.
