Bringing a taste of Goa to Vashi with my Chicken Cafreal Poee Sandwich. I bake the traditional Goan poee bread in house and stuff it with flavourful cafreal chicken, serving it with crispy kappa chips and a creamy dip.
For a refreshing twist on your coffee, try my Orange Americano. It's a vibrant combination of a bold espresso shot poured over chilled orange juice, garnished with a slice of orange and a sprig of rosemary.
My Bomboloni are soft, pillowy Italian doughnuts that I make fresh daily. This video shows them being fried to a perfect golden brown, rolled in sugar, and generously filled with delicious custards and creams.

When I started Moi Doughssier, I wanted to move away from typical cafe fare and build something that felt like home. That is why you won't find generic, mass-produced items here. Every single bake, from our slow-fermented sourdough to our signature Bomboloni, is a result of long nights and a genuine love for the craft.
Our Approach to Flavour
We are big on the 'French style, desi feels' philosophy. You will see this in our menu—like the Chicken Cafreal Poee sandwich. It uses traditional Goan poee bread, baked in-house, paired with familiar Indian spices. It is food that respects technique but stays rooted in taste.
Why Eggless?
People often ask if we sacrifice texture by going eggless. The answer is a hard no. Our Basque cheesecake has that perfect, velvety, creamy center and caramelised top that everyone comes for, and it is 100% eggless. We treat our eggless desserts as a craft, not a compromise.

Since we are a small-batch kitchen, our inventory changes daily. We bake our breads fresh every morning, and our savory buns and tarts move quickly. If you are coming in from outside Vashi, check our status or give us a ring. We love hosting coffee dates, quick work sessions, or just those moments where you need a really good slice of cake.

I’m Nafisa, and Moi Doughssier started as a small pre-order bakery before becoming the Vashi cafe it is today. I’m obsessed with blending classic French techniques with the comfort food I grew up with. It is all about creating a space that feels like home, whether you are here for a quick coffee or a long chat.
