My Ongoing Journey: Immersions & Collaborations
Glimpses into my journey as a student and teacher, where I continue to learn and deepen my own practice.
A peaceful cow grazing in a field in Mysore. These simple, grounding moments are a beautiful part of the journey and a reminder to stay present.
A moment of deep reverence during a program in the Himalayas. Being in the presence of masters and participating in sacred rituals is a humbling experience that deepens my connection to the source.
A Shiva Lingam adorned with fresh flowers, a beautiful offering of devotion. Bhakti yoga, the path of devotion, is a central part of my practice and teachings.
The ceremonial lighting of the lamp, a ritual that symbolizes the dispelling of darkness and the welcoming of divine light and knowledge. These moments are filled with grace and peace.
About Additional Work & Collaborations
These images are more than just memories; they are the foundation of my teaching practice. Whether I am deep in study in Mysore or receiving guidance in the Himalayas, I bring this experiential learning directly into every class I hold. It ensures that what I share with you is grounded in genuine, ongoing inquiry rather than just textbook theory.
Yoga is a lifelong study, and I believe a teacher must always remain a student first. The moments you see here, from the stillness of a Himalayan ashram to the vibrant energy of Mysore, represent my commitment to 'svadhyaya', or self-study.
When I travel for these immersions, it is not a vacation. It is a necessary clearing of my own space so I can show up for you with clarity. You will often see me involved in 'bhakti' rituals, fire ceremonies, or studying with senior teachers. These are practical ways to reconnect with the source. When I return to the mat with you, whether in a private session or online, I am bringing back those same tools—breath, alignment, and devotion—to help you find your own balance.
I intentionally seek out diverse experiences because I know that one size does not fit all. By exploring different lineages and traditions, I am better equipped to offer you modifications and perspectives that actually work for your body and your life. If you feel like your current practice has hit a plateau, or if you are looking for a guide who understands the transition from the corporate race to a life of more purpose, let’s talk. My goal is to hold a safe space where you can drop the 'doing' and just 'be'. 🌸
