Nourishing Satvic Meals for Yogic Wellness
Yoga is not just about the mat; it is about how we fuel ourselves. On my retreats, we embrace clean, Satvic vegetarian food to support your body's natural rhythm and energy.

About Nourishment for Body & Soul
We steer clear of heavy, processed ingredients. Instead, our menu focuses on gut-friendly millet bowls, seasonal produce, and fresh cold-pressed juices designed to sustain your energy levels during practice. It is food that feels light, vibrant, and genuinely healing—the way nature intended.
Fueling Your Practice
In the yogic tradition, we view food as Prana or life force. What we consume directly impacts the quality of our meditation and the depth of our asana practice. That is why the food served at our Rishikesh retreats is not just about hunger; it is about nourishment.
The Satvic Approach
We follow a Satvic vegetarian diet. This means we focus on fresh, pure, and easy-to-digest ingredients that calm the mind and energize the body. You will not find heavy oils or refined sugars here. Instead, our kitchens prepare:
- Millet & Grain Bowls: Wholesome, gluten-free foundations for sustained energy.
- Seasonal Vegetables: Locally sourced produce that honors the season.
- Detox Elixirs: Daily fresh juices, herbal teas, and infused waters to support gut health.
Mindful Eating
Eating together is a core part of the sangha experience. We often share meals in silence or with light, conscious conversation, allowing the body to truly process the nutrition without distraction. Whether you are here for a Hatha flow or deep meditation, these meals are designed to help you feel lighter and more present.
If you have specific dietary requirements, let us know beforehand. Our goal is to ensure you feel cared for, from your first cup of herbal tea in the morning to the final meal of the day.
