About The Sangha: Community & Connection
People often come for the yoga and stay for the community. The magic happens in the unscripted moments—the long, honest conversations over morning tea, the laughter in our sharing circles, and realizing that your personal struggles aren't unique. We leave the outside world at the gate, so you can actually breathe.
When you step into a retreat at Rishikesh, you aren't just checking into a room; you are entering a space where the usual filters are removed. My approach to building 'sangha'—our community—is rooted in radical honesty. We don't do formal networking or corporate icebreakers. Instead, we use shared Hatha and Ashtanga flows, mindful breathing, and communal rituals like the Cacao ceremony or evening havan to break down barriers.
What real connection looks like here
- Safe Sharing Circles: We create a dedicated space where you can drop the 'I'm fine' mask. Whether you are navigating a career shift or deep personal grief, this is a circle that listens without judgment.
- Satvic Dining: We eat together. Our meals are Satvic vegetarian, designed to nourish the gut and calm the mind, providing the perfect backdrop for unhurried conversations.
- Shared Adventure: The bond formed while hiking to a hidden waterfall or taking a cold dip in the Ganga is different from any friendship formed in the city. It is grounded in the raw experience of nature.
Whether you are a beginner or have been practicing for years, this is a place to be human first. You will leave with a handful of connections that last long after the final meditation ends. If you are feeling scattered or isolated in your current routine, this is where you find your people.
