Yoga has no borders. Whether in the Himalayas or across Europe, these retreats are about finding yourself through nature, community, and ancient practice.

A beautiful outdoor yoga session in a green garden. We practiced asanas and meditation under the open sky, connecting with the elements and finding peace in nature's embrace.

A group photo with my students after a workshop in the geodesic dome. The smiles on their faces reflect the joy and connection we shared during our time practicing together.

Leading a group on a mindful walk through the forest trails. Connecting with nature is an essential part of the yoga journey, helping us to feel grounded and present.

A group of students and I in Anjali Mudra (prayer hands) on a hilltop, with the majestic snow-capped Himalayas in the background. We offered our gratitude for the mountains and the practice.

Standing on the path to the sacred Kedarnath Temple in the Himalayas. This pilgrimage was a profound experience, blending the physical journey with the spiritual quest.

A heartwarming moment with a wonderful family in Lithuania who has come to meet me every year for the past four years. These connections are the true blessings of my travels.

During a workshop in the Himalayas, my students from Latvia and I came together to chant and send birthday wishes to my son, Arjun. It was a beautiful moment of shared love and blessings.

A refreshing morning swim in a serene lake in Lithuania. Starting the day by immersing myself in the cool, calm water is a practice of cleansing and renewal for both body and mind.

A group photo with students in front of an ancient rock-cut temple. Exploring these sacred sites together adds a deep historical and spiritual dimension to our yoga retreats.

Another happy group photo inside the dome, with everyone in Anjali Mudra. It's a beautiful symbol of the respect and gratitude we cultivate for the practice and for each other.

About Global Yoga Family: Workshops & Retreats

These aren't hotel-based luxury retreats; I take you where nature is raw, like geodesic domes in deep forests or on remote Himalayan trails. We keep the environment simple so that the internal work of meditation, pranayama, and Hatha yoga remains the center of your day.

My journey has taken me from the busy streets of Riga to the quietude of the Himalayas. I don't just teach poses; I create spaces where people from different cultures—Latvian, European, Indian—can strip away the noise.

My workshops center on 'The Breath.' We start with Hatha yoga to ground the body, then dive deep into Nadi Shodhana and guided mantra meditation. This isn't about fitness in the gym sense. It is about 'swayam ko jaanna' (knowing the self).

Whether we are practicing in a dome, a park, or a forest, the goal remains the same. You aren't here for a standard vacation. You are here to practice, eat simply, and disconnect from your devices. These retreats are designed for anyone who wants to move beyond the surface level of exercise and find balance. If you are looking for a community that practices with heart, this is where we begin.
