About Our Retreat Sanctuaries: Rishikesh & The Himalayas
I host these retreats at ONENESS, a space nestled in the hills where nature does half the healing for us. We move between two extended yoga sessions daily, plenty of silent reflection, and hikes to the Ganga, so there is no pressure to perform or perfect your pose. It is a space to simply be, whether you choose a shared cottage or the privacy of a single sanctuary room.
Why I chose these sanctuaries
I believe the environment is just as important as the practice itself. I curate these retreats in Rishikesh and the Himalayan foothills because these are places where the energy naturally invites you to turn inward. At ONENESS, we have the space to practice Hatha and Ashtanga flows while looking out at the mountains, which is a very different experience from a studio class.
What we do
My approach isn't about rigid fitness routines. It is about a holistic reset. You can expect:
- Daily Practice: Morning and evening sessions covering Hatha and Ashtanga, with variations provided for every level.
- Mindfulness: We dedicate time to Pranayama (breathwork) and guided Yoga Nidra to help soothe the nervous system.
- Rituals & Connection: We incorporate Cacao ceremonies, Vedic fire rituals (Havan), and sound healing to help process emotions.
- Nourishment: All meals are Satvic vegetarian, focusing on gut health with ingredients like millet bowls and seasonal vegetables.
Who this is for
These retreats are open to everyone, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner. If you are feeling scattered, burnt out from the city, or simply seeking a supportive community, you will fit right in. You don't need to be flexible or have a 'perfect' practice. You just need the willingness to show up for yourself. We keep the groups intimate so that we can truly connect, share, and support each other through our respective journeys.
