About Group Yoga Classes
Why I Teach Yoga
For me, yoga isn’t just exercise - it’s a way to tune in to yourself. I always say, yoga, pranayam, meditation... sab kuch body, mind aur soul ke liye hai (it’s all for your body, mind, and soul). My focus is on helping you carry that feeling of calm and happiness off the mat, not just perfecting the poses.
What My Group Classes Feel Like
We practice together in GK-2, in a space that’s peaceful and not intimidating. No one here judges how flexible you are or how much you know. If you’re worried about form, I guide you with gentle adjustments so you’re safe. We use props like sticks, blocks, chairs, and even yoga wheels - best for beginners who need extra support or for anyone wanting to go deeper.
What Happens in Class
Each session blends different yoga styles. Sometimes we’re slow and steady with Hatha yoga group sessions, sometimes we pick up the pace with dynamic flow yoga group practices. Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) is a must-do for me - it’s powerful, energizes your saare chakras (all chakras), and is good for everyone. We also do Chandra Namaskar, pranayama, guided group meditation, and Yoga Nidra for deep chill vibes. Some days, expect face yoga or laughing yoga too.
Who Can Join
Honestly, anyone. My students range from total newbies to folks who’ve been practicing for years. No need to be flexible or strong from day one - we’ll build all that together. Just show up as you are.
