Pranayama and Guided Meditation Classes in GK-2
Yoga is more than the poses you see on a mat; it is a way to quiet the mind and reconnect with yourself. Join our calm, guided sessions to explore the power of breath and stillness.
Our group practicing Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing. This pranayama technique is excellent for balancing the mind, reducing stress, and improving focus.
This video shows our class transitioning into a seated posture for breathing exercises and meditation. We often begin or end our practice this way to center ourselves.
About Beyond Asanas: Pranayama & Meditation
We don’t just jump into sitting still. I make sure we physically prepare the body first, often using props to support the spine so you can sit comfortably without distraction. My goal is for you to leave class feeling lighter and more grounded, not just flexible.
Pranayama and meditation are the heartbeat of what we do at Aatmspand. While dynamic flows get your blood pumping, these practices are what help you carry that sense of calm home with you.
Why Breathwork Matters
We spend so much of our day in a rush. In my classes, we practice techniques like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) to help balance the nervous system. It’s not about doing it perfectly; it’s about noticing the rhythm of your own breath.
What to Expect in Our Sessions
- Safe Setup: Whether you have a tight back or just aren't used to sitting on the floor, I’ll show you how to use blocks and bolsters so you can focus on breathing, not pain.
- Yoga Nidra: We often end our sessions with deep relaxation. This isn't just a nap; it’s a guided process to help you release deep-seated stress and tension.
- Meditation for Everyone: You don't need a quiet mind to start meditating. My guidance helps you observe your thoughts without judgment, making it accessible even if you have never practiced before.
Located in the heart of Greater Kailash II, our studio is designed to be a peaceful escape from the city noise. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, you will find a supportive space here to explore these ancient practices at your own pace.
