Safe Yoga Practice with Personalized Guidance in New Delhi
Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your practice, I ensure your form is safe and effective. We use props and gentle adjustments to help you move with confidence.
Here I am assisting a student in Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, or One-Legged King Pigeon Pose. This hands-on adjustment helps to deepen the backbend safely and protect the lower back.
During our dynamic flow yoga practices, I move around the room to observe and offer individual guidance. This ensures everyone is practicing safely and getting the most out of each posture.
Using the wall is a fantastic tool for beginners learning inversions. This video shows a student safely practicing a wall-assisted handstand to build shoulder strength and body awareness.
About Safe Practice with Personalized Guidance
In our small group batches of 8-12, I personally guide each student through tactile adjustments and the correct use of props. Whether it is using a wall for stability during inversions or yoga blocks to protect your lower back, my goal is to make sure your posture is safe and sustainable so you can focus on the inner connection rather than worrying about injury.
Why Personalized Alignment Matters
Many students come to me worried that they aren't flexible enough or that they might hurt themselves. Yoga is not about forcing your body into a shape; it is about finding the shape that serves your body today. In our GK-2 studio, I prioritize safety above all else.
How We Keep Your Practice Safe
- Hands-on Adjustments: I move through the class to offer tactile corrections. This helps you understand where to engage muscles and where to release tension, ensuring you get the full benefit of every asana.
- Prop-Assisted Learning: We utilize blocks, straps, wheels, and wooden alignment sticks. These are not just for beginners. They help you bridge the gap between where your body is now and where you want it to be, allowing for a deeper stretch without straining your joints.
- Wall Support: For students nervous about balancing or inversions, we use the wall as a dedicated partner. It allows you to build shoulder strength and core awareness while maintaining a sense of security.
Inclusive Guidance for All
I believe in teaching the student, not just the pose. Because our batches are limited to 12 people, I can adapt the flow based on who is in the room. If a student is recovering from a specific injury or simply has tight hamstrings, I provide modifications immediately. You do not need to be strong or flexible to start; you just need to show up. We build everything from the ground up, ensuring your Hatha or Vinyasa flow remains safe, steady, and effective.
