In-Studio Group Yoga Classes in Mayur Vihar
Join our supportive group sessions to balance your asana practice with pranayama and meditation. Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your flow, we practice together to find stability and calm.
In our studio, we practice Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) together, finding our individual balance while being supported by the group's collective energy. It's a beautiful dance of every cell with the music of every breath.
A circle of trust and openness. This group backbend shows how we support each other, creating a wave of energy that flows through the entire class.
A typical class involves a flow of different movements. We start with gentle warm-ups like seated twists and progress to core work like leg raises, ensuring a holistic workout.
Students practicing Ustrasana (Camel Pose) in sync. This heart-opening pose is wonderful for improving posture and bringing a sense of openness to the body and mind.
Here, two students work on their Ustrasana (Camel Pose) together. The studio is a space where we learn, grow, and find our strength, both individually and as a community.
The powerful stance of Virabhadrasana I (Warrior I Pose). In my classes, we hold these postures to build strength, stamina, and mental focus.
Every class has moments of challenge and moments of ease. From light jogging to warm up the body to settling into deep stretches like Balasana (Child's Pose), we embrace the full spectrum of practice.
A student holds a variation of Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand), a powerful inversion that benefits the entire body. We build up to such poses with careful instruction.
Partner work is a great way to build trust and deepen stretches. Here, students assist each other in Utkatasana (Chair Pose), making the practice interactive and fun.
The class moves through a sequence of standing poses, including Tadasana (Mountain Pose) with arms raised. The focus is on synchronized movement and breath.
About In-Studio Group Classes
Classes at Absolute Fit blend Hatha and Vinyasa flows with essential pranayama, so you leave feeling mentally lighter as well as physically stretched. While it is an air-conditioned gym space, keep in mind there is some ambient equipment noise; we focus on tuning this out to find our own inner rhythm during the session.
Our group yoga sessions are designed to move you from just being healthy to achieving true wellness. We structure each 60-minute class to balance the physical demands of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga with the mental stillness found in Shavasana and Om chanting.
What to Expect
We do not focus on picture-perfect poses. Instead, we work on accessibility. If you are new, we use props like blocks and straps to make sure you stay safe. If you are advanced, I will challenge your mobility with deeper backbends and inversions. Because we practice in a shared gym facility, the vibe is lively and communal, not a silent monastery. It is common to hear gym equipment in the background, but our collective energy in the circle creates a space that feels distinct from the rest of the floor.
Practical Details
You get access to 3 to 4 classes per week, available in the morning or evening. We provide communal mats and blocks, though bringing your own towel is always encouraged. The group sizes are small, usually 10 to 15 people, which allows me to offer corrections and adjustments to everyone in the room. Whether you are coming to manage stress, improve posture, or just get moving, these classes provide a consistent environment to make yoga a part of your daily routine.
