From finding balance in a challenging pose to the quiet focus of meditation, these moments capture our community practice. It is about how the body feels, not just how it looks.

The most important equipment for yoga is your body and your mind. Here, I am guiding a student to find the right alignment and focus.

About Additional Poses & Studio Moments

When you step onto the mat, forget about matching the pose you see in magazines. Whether we are using straps to deepen a stretch or supporting a backbend with blocks, my focus is always on your body's specific needs. We practice in the studio not for performance, but to build a routine that actually helps you move better in your daily life.

Our Approach to Asanas and Alignment

In our Mayur Vihar studio, we move away from the obsession with 'perfect' poses. Instead, we focus on safe alignment and functional movement. My teaching blends Hatha and Vinyasa styles, ensuring that every student—whether a beginner or someone with years of experience—can find their own rhythm.

Using Props for Safe Practice

Many students fear they aren't flexible enough for yoga. This is where props become our best friends. We use straps to assist in forward bends, blocks to raise the floor for standing poses, and chairs for support during therapeutic sequences. These tools don't make the practice 'easy'; they make it accessible, allowing you to hold postures longer and breathe deeper without risking injury.

Beyond the Physical

While you see us working on strength and flexibility in these images, the real work happens in the mind. Each session incorporates 5 to 10 minutes of Pranayama and Shavasana. Whether you are dealing with stress, back pain, or just a lack of energy, this blend of movement and breathwork acts as a 'detox' for your system. We focus on consistency—even 5 minutes of practice is a start—rather than intense, one-off workouts.
