This is a glimpse into my shala in Gokulam. From traditional Hatha and Ashtanga to the playfulness of aerial yoga, this is where we build the foundation of our practice together.

This is the heart of my teaching. It is not about forcing a pose, but about guiding you with patience and support. Here, I am assisting a student in an advanced inversion, demonstrating that with trust and proper technique, we can achieve what once seemed impossible.

Aerial yoga is where strength meets grace in the air. This beautiful pose showcases the freedom and elegance you can discover in our specialized Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Course, learning to fly with confidence in our Mysore studio.

This is our community. A joyful moment capturing the diverse group of students who have just completed their 200 and 300-hour teacher training. Earning this certificate is the beginning of a new chapter, and I am honored to be a part of their journey.

The path of a sound healer begins with dedication and an open heart. Here, a student receives her Sound Healing Teacher Training certificate, surrounded by the Tibetan singing bowls that are central to this deeply vibrational and healing practice.

True practice begins with the foundation. In this clip, I explain the subtle yet crucial details of Samasthiti, or Mountain Pose. My courses emphasize understanding the 'why' behind each asana, ensuring you build a safe and intelligent practice from the ground up.

Chair yoga is a powerful practice of accessibility and strength. This advanced Eka Pada Rajakapotasana variation demonstrates that using a prop like a chair is not a limitation, but a tool to explore complex asanas safely and deeply.

The energy in our Ashtanga classes is palpable. This is where we build inner fire, or 'tapas', through disciplined practice. You can see the focus and dynamism as students move through jump-backs and handstands, supporting each other's growth.

Yoga extends beyond the mat into our daily lives, or 'Dincharya'. In our Ayurveda classes, we explore ancient self-care rituals like herbal face packs and oil applications that align the body and mind with nature's rhythms for holistic well-being.

Hearing from my students is the greatest reward. In this video, a student shares her experience with the online Chair Yoga course, explaining how the practice felt as real and impactful as an in-person class, right from her home in Gujarat.

Our studio is a space for exploration and play. This video captures the spirit of our Aerial Yoga TTC, where students learn to trust the silk hammocks, build strength, and experience the joy of movement in a supportive and fun environment.

About Featured

My classes are not just about performing the perfect pose. I focus heavily on Iyengar-style alignment, using props like chairs, blocks, and straps to make complex postures safe and accessible. Whether you are here for a teacher training course or a drop-in session, my goal is to help you understand the anatomy of your own body so you can practice without injury.

I believe that yoga is a journey of consistency, often called 'Athah Yoga Anushasanam' or the start of the practice right now. My shala in Gokulam, Mysore, is built on the pillars of tradition and community. Whether you are joining my 200-hour or 300-hour residential teacher training programs, you will find that I emphasize the philosophy behind the poses, anatomy, and the science of Ayurveda rather than just physical gymnastics.

My approach to Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa is deeply influenced by the alignment techniques I have honed over three decades. We do not ignore the body. We work with it. If you struggle with a pose, we use props until you are ready. My certification courses are Yoga Alliance accredited, designed to help you become a confident teacher who understands how to guide others through breathwork, pranayama, and proper sequencing.

Beyond the intense teacher training modules, I teach a variety of formats including Yin yoga, aerial flow, and therapeutic chair yoga for those with limited mobility. Each course is an immersion into the Mysore style of living, including Sattvic vegetarian meals and a supportive peer group. If you cannot join us in Mysore, I offer online sessions that maintain the same attention to detail, ensuring that every stretch and alignment cue is clear. My students often tell me that the online experience feels just like being in the studio, because I focus on the connection and the instruction first.
