About Aerial Yoga TTC

Before you ever hang from a silk, we spend serious time on the ground. Aerial yoga is only as safe as your knowledge of knots and rigging, so we dedicate real training hours to the technical fundamentals of fabric care and setup. You will not just learn to flip and flow, you will learn how to hold space for students with total confidence in your equipment and safety protocols.

Foundational Safety and Flight

Many students come to me wanting to master inversions, but the real work starts with understanding the fabric. In my 50-hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training, I emphasize that aerial yoga is not just about circus tricks or acrobatic poses. It is a tool for building functional strength, decompression, and accessibility.

What We Cover

  • Rigging & Setup: You will learn knot tying, weight distribution, and safety standards for hammock rigging. This is non-negotiable knowledge for anyone wanting to teach.
  • Aerial Anatomy: How to support the body in the air using the silk, and how to safely guide students through inversions and restorative poses.
  • Flow & Sequencing: We break down how to create smooth transitions that move from the ground into the air and back again.
  • Teaching Methodology: You will practice real-time adjustments and learn how to use your voice to guide a class that feels both secure and liberated.

The Mysore Experience

Training here in Gokulam, Mysore, is an immersive experience. You are not just learning to teach; you are living the life of a yogi.
