About Our Graduates & Community

Graduation here isn't just a ceremony; it is a shift in energy. When my students hold that certificate, they aren't just walking away with paper—they are leaving with the Mysore-style discipline, a deeper understanding of anatomy, and the confidence to hold space for others. This is the moment where their personal practice finally transforms into a teaching practice.

In the quiet lanes of Gokulam, our shala becomes a melting pot. Students arrive from all corners of the world, each with their own reasons for seeking this path. Whether it is the intensity of the Ashtanga series, the alignment precision of Iyengar, or the quiet medicine of Yin, our teacher training courses (TTC) are designed to be immersive.

We do not believe in fast-tracking. Our residential programs mean you live the life: Sattvic vegetarian meals, morning chants, anatomy study, and the daily grind of the shala. By the time graduation arrives, you are not just reciting sutras; you have lived them. We cover the full spectrum—from the business of yoga to hands-on adjustments.

Many of our graduates return home to start their own studios, while others find peace in teaching their local community. My role is to help you build a foundation that is safe and intelligent. If you are ready to move beyond the mat and become a guide for others, I invite you to join our next batch in Mysore. You will find a community that supports you long after you leave India.

I have spent thirty years on the mat, and my greatest joy is not my own practice—it is watching my students find theirs. I believe teaching is about giving you the tools to share what you have learned, not just memorizing sequences.
