About this collection

These workshops move away from the standard 60-minute class format to focus on deep, focused training. Whether it is the intense physical conditioning of Kalari-inspired movement or the internal focus of Qi Gong, my approach remains grounded in anatomy and safety. We use the same high-quality props available in my studio—wheels, belts, and bolsters—to ensure that even these dynamic, less traditional forms of movement are accessible, sustainable, and tailored to your specific biomechanics.

Why Specialized Practices?

Often, students find that standard Hatha or Ashtanga classes only scratch the surface of what the body can do. My workshops are built on the 'Athah Yoga Anushasanam' philosophy—the idea that yoga begins now, and we must be ready to explore. These sessions are about breaking stagnation, whether it is physical stiffness or a plateau in your energy work.

The Disciplines

  • Kundalini Tantra: These are not quick drop-in sessions. We typically hold 30-day immersive courses to map the inner world through breathwork and kriya. It is a slow, steady awakening, not a sprint.
  • Kalari-Inspired Movement: Drawing from the ancient Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu, we focus on ground-based strength, agility, and grace. It ignites the warrior spirit and builds functional strength that carries over into every other aspect of your yoga.
  • Qi Gong & Tai Chi: These are my go-to practices for cultivating 'Prana' or 'Qi'. We move with slow, deliberate intention to improve circulation and calm the nervous system. It is the perfect antidote to the high-paced stress of modern city life.

My Teaching Approach

I do not simply lecture. I guide. In these workshops, you will see me using industrial yoga chairs, wall ropes, and blocks to help you safely access deep ranges of motion.
