Yoga Masterclasses and Workshops in Kalyannagar

byAbsolute YogaStudio at Kalyan Nagar, BengaluruView full gallery

We bring in senior guest teachers to challenge your practice and offer fresh perspectives. From Ashtanga Vinyasa to functional mobility, these masterclasses are designed for those ready to move beyond their daily routine.

We are deeply grateful to our mentors and guest teachers who have shaped our practice. This session with Indira Pillai and Yashwanth Panyam was a powerful reminder that we grow because someone guides us there. We are committed to bringing more such soulful learning opportunities to you.

In our Ashtanga Vinyasa masterclass, the focus is on authentic learning. Students get an introduction to the Primary Series and experience hands-on adjustments from a respected teacher. This is how you build a safe and intelligent practice.

Even as teachers, we remain students for life. Here, one of our instructors receives guidance in a challenging forearm stand. We believe in continuous learning so that we can guide you with greater depth and understanding.

A good yoga teacher does more than correct your posture; they see your potential. They know when to challenge you and when to remind you that you are capable of more. This is the kind of guidance we strive to provide in every class.

We curate expert-led sessions to help our students and teachers grow with purpose. This workshop was focused on setting clear goals and deepening the practice through expert guidance. It's about moving mindfully and progressing together.

Learning never stops. Here, our team participates in an enriching workshop to deepen our own understanding of breath and asana. Being part of a dedicated community of practitioners allows us to bring more depth to our classes.

About this collection

These sessions are intensive, typically running 3 to 4 hours, and are not about perfecting a pose for a photo. You will be working on alignment mechanics, functional mobility, and breathwork in a small group setting where our visiting masters provide hands-on adjustments. Come prepared to work hard and leave with corrections that change how you approach your mat.

Why we host visiting masters

At Absolute Yoga, we know that a single teacher cannot hold all the answers. Our studio in Kalyannagar hosts guest mentors because fresh perspectives often unlock plateaus that a consistent, daily practice cannot. These sessions are for practitioners who have moved past the basics and are ready to interrogate their alignment and deepen their understanding of breath.

What to expect in a masterclass

You will not find superficial flow here. Our workshops focus on technical deep dives. Whether it is a breakdown of the Ashtanga Primary Series with senior faculty, or a functional mobility session that teaches you how to use props like wall ropes and Iyengar chairs, the goal is always functional utility. We keep group sizes limited so the instructor can actually see your form and offer necessary physical adjustments.

The philosophy behind the sweat

These are not leisure events. We treat these masterclasses as tapasya, or intense practice. Expect to be challenged, physically and mentally. We explore pranayama mechanics to understand energy regulation, and we break down complex asanas so you can practice safely outside the studio. If you are looking to understand the 'why' behind the 'how', join us for our next technical intensive.

We are a team that believes even teachers need to remain students. We have been running Absolute Yoga since 2017 in Kalyannagar, not to create perfect poses, but to build a space where you can actually progress. When we host guest masters, we aren't looking for celebrity names; we look for teachers who can push your understanding of breath and alignment further than a standard class ever could.
