Yoga begins with the breath. Join me in Mysore or online to explore the subtle science of Pranayama, deep meditation, and the heart-opening devotion of Kirtan.

Bhramari Pranayama, the Bumblebee Breath, is a simple yet powerful technique that uses sound vibration to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system.

Breathe in peace, breathe out stress. At my studio, Pranayama isn’t just breathing, it’s an awakening. Come sit with your breath; it knows the way.

About this collection

Whether you are looking to calm a busy mind or seeking professional guidance through teacher training, my sessions are designed to move beyond the physical posture. We focus on the science of breath control and the vibrations of chanting to help you find a steady rhythm in your daily life. Regardless of your experience level, these practices provide the tools you need to build inner stability, regardless of how chaotic your day has been.

The journey of yoga does not end when you step off the mat. My Pranayama and meditation sessions are rooted in tradition, focusing on the specific techniques that help you regulate your nervous system. In our sessions, we explore Bhramari, Nadi Shodhana, and other ancient breathwork methods that act as a bridge between your physical movement and your mental state.

The Practice in Mysore and Online

I offer a hybrid space. At my shala in Gokulam, we gather for in-person breathwork, where I can manually guide your alignment and breathing rhythm. For those joining online, the instruction remains precise. I prioritize clear, step-by-step guidance so you can cultivate a home practice that feels authentic and safe.

Kirtan and Devotion

Yoga is also about the heart. Our Kirtan sessions are not performances. They are communal gatherings where we use sound and rhythm to break down internal barriers. Singing 'Hare Krishna' or 'Shivoham' isn't about having a perfect voice. It is about the shared vibration that connects everyone in the room. This is the practice of Bhakti, where we learn to let go and simply exist in the present.

Teacher Training

For those who wish to teach, my Pranayama Teacher Training courses offer a deep dive into the physiology and philosophy of the breath. We break down the biomechanics of inhalation and exhalation, ensuring you understand not just how to teach, but why the practice works. You will learn to hold space for students, guide them through trauma-informed breathwork, and maintain the integrity of these ancient traditions.

I’m Srinatha. For three decades, the mat has been my home, but the real work—the work of the breath and the heart—happens in the stillness we cultivate together. My shala in Gokulam is a space where we leave the ego at the door, whether we are chanting Kirtan or finding the silence in meditation.
