Yoga Classes & Student Progress in Santacruz West
I believe yoga is a journey of consistency, not perfection. In these sessions, we focus on steady progress, whether you are starting fresh or deepening your practice.
I love to see my students making progress. This before and after shows a student mastering Chakrasana, going from struggling to holding it with ease.

About Student Progress & Group Classes
My group classes, both in my Santacruz studio and online, focus on small group sizes to ensure you get direct feedback. I use manual adjustments and props to help you move safely through asanas, ensuring that your practice remains consistent and focused on your individual growth rather than just mirroring what others are doing.
Building Your Practice
I view every class as an opportunity to connect with yourself. Whether you are a beginner stepping onto the mat for the first time or a regular student refining your inversions, my goal is to guide you in a way that respects your body’s needs.
In our studio sessions in Santacruz West, we emphasize proper alignment using props like blocks, chairs, and belts. This helps you build strength and flexibility safely, reducing the risk of strain. If you join my online sessions, the approach remains just as personal. I keep an eye on your form through the screen, offering cues and corrections just as I would in person.
Why Consistency Matters
Progress in yoga is rarely about doing the most difficult pose on day one. It is about showing up, rain or shine. In my classes, we work on:
- Alignment & Mechanics: Learning the 'how' behind common asanas like Chakrasana to prevent injury and maximize benefits.
- Inversion Training: Safely working on headstands and other inversions to build confidence and spatial awareness.
- Breath & Focus: Integrating Ujjayi breathing and mindfulness to help you move with intention.
A Community of Growth
The photos here show my students, but more importantly, they show the result of showing up. Seeing my students progress—like mastering a pose that once felt impossible—is what makes me love teaching. My classes are a space for everyone, and I invite you to join our community, grow at your own pace, and find the balance that yoga brings to life.
