Yoga Practice Stories and Student Progress
These photos capture the dedication of my students, from mastering new asanas to finding peace. This is what real progress looks like when you commit to your practice.
A moment of focus during my own practice. As a teacher, it's important for me to maintain my connection to the mat, exploring poses like this low lunge to stay grounded and strong.
Practicing Bhujangasana, or Cobra Pose, at home. This backbend is fantastic for strengthening the spine and opening the chest. I always emphasize rolling the shoulders back to create space and avoid pinching the lower back.
A student demonstrating a beautiful Ardha Matsyendrasana (Half Lord of the Fishes Pose) during a home session. This seated twist is excellent for improving spinal mobility and aiding digestion.
Another angle of the seated spinal twist, showing the student's focus and proper alignment. It's wonderful to see students find comfort and depth in their poses during our one on one classes.
This inspiring video shows an advanced practitioner moving through a graceful and powerful sequence by the river. Her practice demonstrates incredible strength, flexibility, and control in poses like Hanumanasana (splits) and arm balances.
A student in a deep Ustrasana (Camel Pose). This powerful backbend requires significant flexibility in the spine and openness in the chest and shoulders, and she performs it with grace.
This student shows excellent form in Parivrtta Trikonasana (Revolved Triangle Pose). This challenging standing twist improves balance, stretches the legs, and strengthens the core.
A student holding Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) with strength and stability. This pose is wonderful for strengthening the entire back of the body and opening up the front, from the ankles to the throat.
A student practicing Viparita Virabhadrasana (Reverse Warrior) against a beautiful sunrise. This image perfectly captures the feeling of finding peace and strength within, connecting with the sky above and the earth below.
About Our Students' Journey & Inspiration
It is not just about holding a pose perfectly from day one. I use a spotlight technique in online sessions and manual adjustments in offline classes to make sure you get the alignment right, regardless of your current flexibility or strength level.
Har cheez ka credit yoga ko hi jaata hai (all credit goes to yoga). When you see these images, you are looking at the result of discipline. Whether it is a deep backbend or a simple seated twist, the progress comes from consistent practice. In my classes, we do not rush. We focus on the why behind every movement.
For my online students, I use spotlight corrections on Zoom. This helps me see your posture in real-time so I can guide you on exactly how to align your body, even from your living room. For my offline community sessions in Delhi NCR, I rely on manual adjustments to guide you deeper into your practice safely. My focus is always on therapeutic benefits, such as fixing chronic back pain, managing PCOD symptoms, or just calming a busy mind after a long day. This is not about being the most flexible person in the room; it is about being better than you were yesterday. If you are struggling with weakness or pain, hum usi pe dhyan dete hain (we focus on that specific area). Every student starts somewhere, and I am here to ensure you do it the right way.
