Yoga Connect Global: My Teaching Journey in Australia
Teaching across Australia was a truly transformative experience. From Melbourne to Launceston, I connected with so many beautiful souls through breath, movement, and meditation. Here is a glimpse into the community and energy we created along the way.
Leading a group of students in Vrikshasana, or tree pose, at Gamma College in Melbourne. It was a joy to introduce yoga to these wonderful students.
A partner boat pose, Navasana, from my class in Melbourne. Partner yoga is a fun way to build strength, balance, and communication.
Students holding hands for support in tree pose. This demonstrates the community and connection we build in my classes.
A view from the back of the class, showing everyone's unique expression of the tree pose. There is no perfect pose, only your personal journey.
A partner forward fold stretch to help each other go deeper into the posture. This is a great way to build trust and assist one another.
A seated partner stretch that helps open the hips and inner thighs. I love incorporating interactive elements into my classes.
A full class at Flow Yoga Studio in Geraldton, Western Australia. The energy in this room was so welcoming and peaceful.
About this collection
While my Australian journey was filled with partner flows and community workshops, these sessions taught me that yoga isn't just about the mat. It is about the people you connect with. In my current Delhi classes, I bring that same warmth—whether we are doing a heavy Vinyasa flow or a quiet meditation—because everyone deserves that feeling of community. Thoda time toh dena padega, theek hai?
My time in Australia was more than just travel; it was a deep dive into how yoga serves different communities. Whether I was leading a session at Gamma College in Melbourne or holding space for meditation at a local club in Geraldton, the focus was always on making the practice accessible and joyful.
I loved incorporating partner yoga into those sessions because it builds trust and communication—something we often miss in our busy routines. Watching students help each other deepen a stretch or find balance in Vrikshasana (tree pose) was a beautiful reminder that yoga is a shared journey.
Now that I am back in my Delhi studio in Panchsheel Park, I bring that same energy into my daily classes. I do not believe in cookie-cutter routines. Whether you are joining me for:
- Hatha & Vinyasa Flows: To build strength and flexibility.
- Sound Healing & Meditation: Using Tibetan singing bowls to unblock energy centers.
- Personalized 1-on-1 Sessions: Tailored for your specific body needs, injury management, or personal goals.
Everything I teach is designed to help you balance your mind, body, and soul. Just like the classes in Australia, my current sessions are about finding your own rhythm. You do not need to be flexible to start; you just need to show up. If you are ready to find some peace and start your practice, send me a message and let’s get started.
