Yoga Community and Conscious Connection

Yoga is personal, but we grow better together. Whether it is shared retreats, post-practice meals, or finding our rhythm in nature, this is the space where my practice meets people.

Imagine escaping the city to breathe in fresh mountain air and reconnect with your calm. This is a snapshot from one of my "Yoga Escapes", an overnight retreat where we practice together, share meals, and find peace in nature. It is a beautiful way to deepen your practice in a supportive community.

It is the friends you can practice with at 4 a.m. that matter. Sharing the journey of yoga with a friend, finding joy in the quiet moments of practice together, is a special connection.

Two yogis, two souls, one rhythm. An Ashtanga teacher from India and one from Indonesia, meeting at the shore and letting movement speak where words fall short. This was our practice that day: presence, connection, and joy.

Good food does not have to be fancy. This Vegan Vegetable Khichdi with unpolished rice was made with friends and a lot of love. Sharing a nourishing meal is one of the most beautiful ways to connect.

It feels good to be lost in the right direction. A trek with friends and family, surrounded by the lush green landscapes of India, is a perfect way to reconnect with nature and each other.

About Community & Connection

You will notice that my retreats and classes aren't just about the mat. We spend time in silent forest walks, cooking plant-based meals, or just sitting with tea. If you join, expect to find a group that talks about life, stress, and dharma as much as we talk about alignment.

My teaching follows the Mysore parampara, but community is the hidden thread that holds it all together. Whether we are practicing the Primary Series via Zoom or meeting in the Sahyadri mountains for a weekend retreat, the focus remains on personal growth within a supportive circle.

We aren't just doing asanas. We talk about how to apply our dharma to our corporate lives, how to swap sugar for jaggery, or how to handle a digital detox. If you attend my eco-luxury retreats in Lonavala, you will find yourself sharing a plant-based Khichdi with strangers who quickly become friends. It is about simple living. We ground ourselves with barefoot walks, breathwork, and long conversations about life, not just postures.

I believe yoga is a journey we take, but it flourishes when we share the path. If you are looking for a space that values sincerity over performance, and connection over competition, you have found the right place. Come join our morning practice, attend a workshop, or just reach out to chat about a lifestyle shift. It is all about finding your antaratma—your inner voice—and helping each other listen to it.
