My Yoga Path and Community Recognitions
Yoga is my connection to Mahadev and my own inner strength. From my personal practice to the community we have built in our mandal, here is a glimpse into how I teach and why I believe yoga is for everyone.
Har Har Mahadev. A moment from my personal practice, offering my movements and my breath to the divine. My Mahadev T-shirt is a reminder of where my strength comes from.
A proud moment for our community, being featured in the newspaper for our International Yoga Day celebration. It's a blessing to be able to share the gift of yoga with so many.
Just be yourself. A quiet moment of my own practice, moving from a lunge to finding stillness with my yoga wheel. This is my time to reconnect.
"Aham Brahmasmi." I am the universe. A powerful mantra that I connect with during my practice, here in Chakrasana (Wheel Pose). Yoga is for life.
Purusharth Day 1. My day starts with cleaning my sacred space, followed by my personal yoga and meditation practice. This discipline grounds me in Dharma, Artha, and Kama.
About this collection
If you think you need to be flexible to start yoga, that is exactly why you should come as you are. I use props like wall ropes and bamboo sticks to help your body safely find its potential, so whether you are working through back pain or just looking for a calm space, we start exactly where you are. My studio is a mandal where we grow together, not just a place to sweat.
I believe that yoga is not a race, it is a slow and steady path to man ka sukoon (peace of mind). My journey started with a simple search for balance, and today, that same search has turned into a community of men and women who show up for each other every day.
My Approach to Yoga
I do not believe in magic, only in mehnat (hard work). Whether you join my group sessions or a 1-on-1 personal therapy session, we focus on alignment, breath, and consistency.
- Tools for Real Progress: I use Iyengar-style wall ropes for spinal traction, bamboo sticks for shoulder mobility, and yoga wheels to help you stretch deeper. These are not just props; they are support systems that allow you to practice safely, even if you are dealing with injuries or stiffness.
- The Mandal Spirit: When you come to my studio in Sector 46, you are not just a student; you are part of our mandal. We celebrate festivals, share healthy habits, and hold each other accountable for our goals.
- Personalized Care: I limit my group batches to 10-15 people. This allows me to give every person the hands-on correction they need. If you have specific health concerns like PCOS, PCOD, or chronic back pain, we will tailor your practice to manage these conditions effectively.
Yoga is for life. Whether you are looking for weight loss programs, therapeutic classes, or simply a place to quiet your mind after a long day, I am here to guide you. If you are ready to stop waiting for 'kal' (tomorrow) and want to embrace 'pal' (the present moment), I would love to have you in our circle.
Meenakshi Lather Joon
Namaste, I am Meenakshi. To me, yoga is a path to finding peace—what I call man ka sukoon—in a busy world. I am a mother of two and a firm believer that progress takes patience, not magic. Come join my mandal, where we work hard, support each other, and grow together, one breath at a time.
