Yoga didn't start for me on a mat; it started with a need to heal. Here is a glimpse into the practice, the teachers, and the personal discipline that shapes my teaching today.

A reintroduction. I am a student and practitioner of yoga, and also a teacher. I came to this practice to heal myself, and in doing so, I found my purpose in sharing its timeless gifts with others.

Teaching gives me purpose and peace. This video reflects on my journey from a corporate career to finding my calling, starting right here on my terrace where I taught my very first class.

A week after returning from a month of dedicated sadhana, or practice. The journey of transformation is subtle, and I am still exploring the shifts in my mind and body. I feel energized, motivated, and deeply inspired.

For my graduation day from advanced teacher training, I chose to wear yellow, the color of knowledge, the Guru, and light. Here I am arranging flowers, a small act of devotion and gratitude.

A moment of reflection in the garden after my graduation. I am still reverberating in the pure energy of the Dhama, the beautiful space that was my home for a month.

Swadhyaya, the process of studying the self. This journey is non linear and takes you into the shadow parts of your character. But if we continue the work, the lessons become shorter and the transformation is profound.

One full moon since my sadhana. This spiritual quest is not easy, but surrendering to the process always leads to light. This reel reminds me how sacred the experience of discipline, focus, and surrender was.

A moment of devotion at the Mahakumbh Mela. There is only one real form of love, the Divine, and only one desire that is worth having, Liberation. Har Har Mahadev.

Another powerful glimpse from the Mahakumbh. Witnessing so many forms of devotion and tapasya (austerity) is a humbling reminder of the many paths to the same truth.

From my time in Mysore, receiving guidance on my Pincha Mayurasana. My travels to the sources of yoga are a vital part of my sadhana, allowing me to learn from the land, the teachers, and fellow travellers.

About My Personal Journey & Sadhana

This gallery isn't just about poses; it reflects the sadhana, or personal practice, that helped me transition from a fast-paced corporate life to finding my true purpose. Every image here—from moments of devotion at the Mahakumbh to the quiet discipline of my morning practice—is a building block for how I teach. If you are feeling misaligned in your own life or just curious about how yoga can change your perspective, let’s talk about how we can start your own sustainable practice.
