Advanced Asanas & Acro Yoga Classes
Ready to take your practice further? From inversions to partner-based Acro yoga, we focus on building strength, trust, and mental balance through steady, disciplined movement.
Partner yoga helps build trust and allows for deeper expressions of poses. Here, students are working together to create beautiful and challenging shapes, supporting each other's balance and flexibility.
"Jab thaan liya to thaan liya." A student's determination shines as she holds a perfect headstand (Sirsasana). This is the result of consistent practice and a strong mindset.
Balancing of Asana means balancing emotions. A student gracefully holds Natarajasana (Dancer's Pose), a beautiful posture that requires focus, stability, and an open heart.
"Saffalta mehnat mangti hai." Success demands hard work. This video captures the moment a student finally achieves her unassisted headstand, a milestone in her yoga journey.
My faith in Bhagwan gives me the strength to support my students. Here, I am assisting a student in a deep hip-opening pose, helping her to safely explore her limits.
Each morning we are born again. A student practices Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand), an inversion known as the 'queen of asanas' for its wide-ranging benefits for the body and mind.
About Challenge Yourself: Advanced Asanas & Acro Yoga
Advanced asanas are more than just physical achievements. They are about finding emotional stability and building strength through consistency. In my studio, I rely heavily on wall ropes and yoga wheels to support your spine during inversions, making sure that poses like Sirsasana (headstand) feel safe and achievable. We focus on the process and safety, not just the final pose.
Beyond the Basics: Why Advanced Practice Matters
When you move into advanced yoga, the goal isn't to show off. It is to test your limits and find 'man ka sukoon' (peace of mind) in challenging situations. Whether you are working on your first headstand or exploring Acro yoga, every pose is a lesson in patience.
The Role of Props in Safety
I often see students afraid of advanced poses because they fear injury. That is where my studio setup comes in. I use:
- Iyengar-style wall ropes: These are essential for spinal traction and decompressing the back during deep inversions.
- Bamboo sticks (Danda Yoga): These help with shoulder mobility, ensuring you have the right alignment before attempting complex flows.
- Yoga Wheels: Perfect for deeper backbends and opening the chest safely.
Partner & Acro Yoga: Building the Mandal
Acro yoga is not just about strength; it is about building trust. In our mandal (community), we pair up to support each other's balance. This practice fosters a sense of unity and playfulness that you rarely find in standard fitness classes.
My Philosophy: Jab Thaan Liya
Success demands hard work. If you have decided to deepen your practice, my role is to provide the guidance and the space to make it happen. We don't believe in shortcuts. We believe in showing up, putting in the effort, and respecting the body's timeline. If you are in Gurugram and looking to evolve your yoga journey, come join our small, supportive group batches.
