About Online Yoga Classes
You do not need a studio to receive professional alignment. I guide you to use common household objects like bed edges, walls, and scarves to replicate the support of professional yoga props, ensuring your practice is safe and effective from your own living room.
My online classes are not pre-recorded videos that you follow blindly. We connect live via Zoom or Google Meet, allowing me to provide real-time verbal posture corrections. This is essential for safety, especially when you are working on managing chronic pain like sciatica, back issues, or stiffness.
How the Online Sessions Work
- Interactive Alignment: I watch your form and guide your movements, just as if I were standing in the room with you. We use micro-adjustments to ensure you are engaging the right muscles.
- Prop-Supported Practice: We make do with what you have. I teach you how to use a chair, a wall, or even a folded towel to modify poses, helping you gain the benefits of Iyengar-style traction without needing a full studio setup.
- Pain & Lifestyle Focus: The curriculum is built on the same therapeutic foundations as my in-studio programs. We integrate breathing techniques (Pranayama) like Anulom Vilom for stress, and targeted asanas to address desk-job related issues like neck and shoulder pain.
