Stop living with stiffness and chronic pain. Learn simple, prop-assisted yoga movements to fix your posture, decompress your spine, and find real relief from daily desk-job aches.

I demonstrate a quick, 1-minute technique to provide relief from cervical pain. With my assistance, the student is able to release deep-seated tension in the neck and shoulder area.

"Bhai mere, shoulder bade stiff ho chuke hain." If you feel this way from office work, I show you exercises using a strap or towel to release shoulder stiffness and pain behind the shoulders.

This is a partner-assisted stretch that is excellent for relieving upper back pain. Using a yoga strap, I help the student achieve a deep opening in the chest and shoulders.

Try this simple partner yoga pose to relieve shoulder stiffness and back pain. This gentle, assisted stretch helps release all the tiredness and relaxes the mind.

If you have a neck hump or are troubled by cervical pain, I explain two or three simple exercises to do daily. These movements focus on shoulder rotation and chest opening to correct posture.

For a neck hump and shoulder pain, this simple floor exercise is very effective. I show how to perform this movement to open up the thoracic spine and relieve tension.

A bad body posture or hunchback can be corrected with consistent practice. I demonstrate a few asanas that help lengthen the spine and strengthen the back muscles.

Do you have a hunchback? This video shows a few simple forward bending and stretching exercises you can even do on your bed to improve your spinal alignment.

Here, my students and I demonstrate a group exercise using a strap to open the lower back. This is a powerful way to get relief from back pain.

This sequence of movements provides relief from back pain while also improving leg, back, and shoulder flexibility. I recommend doing two sets of 20 repetitions every morning.

About Yoga for Back, Neck & Shoulder Pain

My approach to pain management isn't about holding advanced poses. We focus on 'therapeutic alignment' using accessible props—your chair, a wall, or even a towel. Whether it's cervical stiffness from driving or a hunchback caused by long hours at a laptop, the relief starts with small, daily micro-movements designed to decompress your vertebrae rather than strain them.

How We Address Pain

Most back and neck issues in modern life come from repetitive habits. When you join my sessions, we don't just 'do yoga.' We conduct a physical assessment to understand your trigger points. In our Rohini and Rishikesh studios, we use Iyengar-style wall ropes and wooden bricks to create space in your spine—something you cannot achieve with floor stretches alone.

The Daily Routine

  • Cervical & Neck: Targeted rotations and chest openers to reverse the 'tech-neck' hunch.
  • Upper Back: Partner-assisted stretches and strap work to release deep-seated tension between the shoulder blades.
  • Posture Correction: Exercises designed to lengthen the spine and strengthen the supporting muscles, specifically for those spending 8+ hours sitting.

What You Get

When you sign up for our therapeutic program, you aren't just getting an exercise class. You get a personalized roadmap. This includes:

  • Real-time corrections: Whether in-person or via live online sessions, I verify your alignment to prevent injury.
  • Postural adjustments: Simple, actionable advice on how to sit, sleep, and stand to stop aggravating your pain.
  • Micro-movements: 2-minute routines you can do at your office desk to keep inflammation away.

Pain relief is a process, not a magic trick. Stick with it for 30 days, follow the routine, and you will see the change.
