About Sound Healing & Floating Sound Baths
When you step into a floating sound bath at our Indiranagar studio, we don't just play music. You are cocooned in aerial silks to simulate the safety of the womb, while live instruments are played around you. It is a physical experience of frequency—you will feel the vibration move through your body, helping to release tension in your fascia and calm your nervous system after a long week.
At Uruvana, we approach sound healing as a practical science. Sound is Nada, the first vibration of the universe, and we use it to bypass the analytical mind and reach the nervous system directly.
During a typical session, you will find yourself in an aerial hammock. This suspension provides a weightless environment that allows the body to fully release tension, especially around the spine and hips. As we play crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, and gongs, you are not just listening; you are absorbing the frequencies.
These vibrations act on the cellular level, helping to clear emotional blocks and quiet a busy mind. We balance this with the energetic tending of our space—using crystals like Chalcedony and Clear Quartz, smudging with sage or palo santo, and setting clear intentions.
We often integrate other healing modalities:
- Panch Tattva: Balancing the five elements of nature within the body through sound and breath.
- Plant Spirit Connection: Using essential oils to deepen the meditative state.
- Nada Yoga: The ancient practice of deep listening to realign your energy centers.
Whether you are new to meditation or looking for a specific type of energetic release, our sessions are designed to meet you where you are. You do not need to be a 'yogi' to attend; you just need to be willing to lie down and let the sound do the work.
Uruvana Wellness
I built Uruvana because I needed a sanctuary that actually felt like a homecoming, not just another studio. Every crystal, every instrument, and every hammock is placed with specific intention to hold space for your healing journey.
