About Sound Healing Journeys
Most people walk into a sound bath worrying about whether they are 'doing' meditation correctly, but you don't need to try here. You simply lie down on a provided yoga mat with a bolster, and I do the rest. I use a mix of Tibetan brass bowls and pure quartz crystal singing bowls placed around the room at specific distances to create a layered resonance. You will feel the vibrations physically move through the space, which is often the quickest way to lower your brainwave activity and help your body let go of accumulated tension.
How Sound Bathing Works
Healing isn't always about talking or analyzing; sometimes, it is about shifting your vibrational state. In my sound healing sessions across Bangalore—at studios in Indiranagar, Jayanagar, and Koramangala—I use instruments that emit specific frequencies. When these sound waves hit your body, they trigger an entrainment process where your heart rate and breath naturally synchronize with the calming rhythm of the bowls. It is essentially a 'reset button' for your nervous system.
What to Expect in a Session
- The Setup: We use floor seating and lying positions. I provide the mats, bolsters, and eye pillows. You just need to wear comfortable clothing.
- The Instruments: I incorporate Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, Tingsha chimes, and sometimes gongs. Each piece has a unique tonal quality, from deep, grounding bass notes to high-frequency clearing sounds.
- The Outcome: Many participants describe feeling lighter, less 'foggy,' or simply more at peace after a session. It is particularly effective if you are dealing with chronic stress, burnout, or difficulty switching off your mind at night.
Why Practice With Me
My approach is firmly rooted in the belief that healing is a non-linear journey. I don't follow rigid scripts. Whether we are hosting a session on a full moon night for release or a weekend detox in the city, the goal is always the same: to create a non-judgmental space where you feel safe enough to be vulnerable. You don't need to have any prior experience with yoga or meditation to benefit from these sound baths. Just come as you are.
Aarthi Padmanabhan
I’m Aarthi. After spending years in the corporate grind, I found my anchor in the healing arts, and I know exactly what it feels like to be completely overwhelmed. I don't offer 'perfect' spiritual experiences; I offer a safe, honest space where you can come exactly as you are to rest, reset, and listen to yourself again.
