Yoga for Pain Relief and Healing
Real healing takes work, not magic. Whether it is chronic cervical tension or lifestyle ailments, I help you fix the root cause through disciplined asana, breathwork, and consistent daily practice.
This is a two-month transformation of my mother's Psoriasis, a condition doctors called incurable. The 'before' image shows the inflammation on her finger, and the 'after' shows her skin completely healed through a dedicated Yogic and Ayurvedic regimen.
This cervical workshop was born from helping my own mother heal her chronic neck pain. Here, students use straps while seated on chairs to learn new techniques for releasing shoulder and neck tension.
If you have 15 minutes, you can manage back pain, sciatica, and cervical issues. This video explains and demonstrates three powerful asanas: Shalabhasana (Locust Pose), Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), and Markatasana (Spinal Twist).
Hanuman Dand is a traditional exercise that is incredible for building a strong, pain-free back. In this video, I demonstrate the powerful, flowing movement that strengthens the entire spine.
Practicing Hanuman Dand outdoors. This dynamic movement not only prevents back pain but also builds functional strength and stamina, connecting you with the powerful energy of nature.
For my female students, I teach specific asanas to promote hormonal balance and healthy periods. This video demonstrates three key poses, including Baddha Konasana and Malasana, that help relieve cramps and regulate the menstrual cycle.
A humorous take on finding quick fixes online for irregular periods. While these poses can help, true healing for issues like PCOD comes from a consistent practice and a holistic lifestyle, not just two asanas from a reel.
I explain how to manage PCOD not with quick fixes, but with three core yogic principles: Mitahara (mindful eating), balanced exercise, and stress management through breathwork.
You don't even need to get out of bed to start your yoga practice. This 10-minute morning routine features gentle stretches perfect for relieving stiffness and managing issues like sciatica.
This video explains Jala Neti, a yogic cleansing technique using a neti pot with saline water to cure sinus issues, migraines, and chronic cold and cough. It's a natural and effective way to clear the nasal passages.
About Yoga for Healing: Address Pain & Ailments
Most people come to me looking for a single pose they saw in a viral video, but lasting relief comes from consistent, structured alignment. In my therapy sessions, we move beyond generic stretching and use tools like wall-mounted ropes to create the necessary traction for the spine, specifically targeting the compression that causes cervical and back pain.
Healing isn't about popping pills to mask symptoms, it is about giving your body the right environment to repair itself. When I helped my mother overcome a condition doctors called incurable, we didn't use shortcuts. We used the principles of Yogic Vihar and specific asana sequences to address her pain at the source. This is the same approach I bring to my classes.
My Approach to Pain Management
We address issues like sciatica, slipped discs, cervical tension, and PCOD by focusing on three pillars:
- Mechanical Alignment: Using wall ropes and props to safely decompress the spine and joints.
- Breath Control: Using pranayama to reduce the inflammation caused by chronic stress and anxiety.
- Lifestyle Architecture: Adjusting your daily routine to support your body's recovery rather than working against it.
Why This Works
I don't teach 'gentle' yoga if your body needs structural correction. Whether we are practicing Shalabhasana for spinal strength or using deep relaxation to manage nerve pain, the goal is always functional results. If you are tired of temporary relief and are ready to put in the work to actually fix your posture and manage your condition, this is the place for you. We focus on results that you can feel in your daily life, from better mobility to reduced dependency on medication.
