Why Folk Music for Kids?

Folk music is raw, rhythmic, and incredibly fun. It is the perfect entry point for young learners because it is rooted in stories and daily life. Through these sessions, children develop:

What Happens in a Session?

Every workshop is led by our team with live singing, storytelling, and instrument demonstrations. We introduce children to the manjira, djembe, and other folk instruments. They sit on mats, get close to the musicians, and participate directly. We often use puppets and props to make the narratives of regional folklore visual and interactive. Whether it is a seasonal monsoon theme or a specific regional study, our goal is for your child to walk away with a love for the sound, not just the technical theory.
