Learning about high and low pitch ('uncha swar' and 'neecha swar') becomes a fun game of lifting and lowering. In our parent-toddler classes, we use physical movement to make musical concepts tangible and easy for young minds to grasp.

Using colorful scarves, we guide parents and toddlers through movements that teach high and low notes. This sensory activity helps children physically experience musical concepts like pitch in an engaging way.

About Parent & Toddler Music Sessions

Forget sitting still and watching from the sidelines. Our sessions require you to be right there on the floor with your child—clapping along to the tabla, shaking maracas, or dancing with scarves. We have specifically designed this for children aged 6 months to 4 years because your active participation is the heartbeat of the session. Whether we are singing folk songs or exploring the notes of a raga, you are their primary partner in discovery, making the music feel safe, familiar, and fun for them.
