I believe props are helpers, not shortcuts. Here, a student uses a bolster to safely explore Hanumanasana (the splits), finding depth without strain. This is how we make every pose accessible to every body.

If you are struggling with a pose, we look at why—maybe your shoulders need opening or your hips need support. We use props not as shortcuts, but as tools to help you find stability, so you can stop worrying about the 'perfect' shape and start feeling the movement.
At Svādhyāya, we believe yoga is not about achieving a perfect pose but about the journey of self-discovery. Located in the heart of Powai, our shala is designed to be a sanctuary away from the city's rush. Whether you are looking for Hatha Yoga to build alignment, Ashtanga Vinyasa for strength, or restorative sound healing to calm the mind, our sessions are crafted to meet you where you are today.
We keep our group classes small, with only 8 to 15 students, because individual attention matters. I personally oversee each session, offering hands-on adjustments and guidance to ensure your practice remains safe and sustainable. Our studio is equipped with premium props like bolsters, cork blocks, and straps that empower you to explore poses with ease rather than strain.
We also understand that life happens. Maybe you are a new mother looking for prenatal yoga, a parent searching for a playful environment for your child, or someone recovering from an injury who needs private therapy sessions. We have space for all these paths. My role is to act as a guide, providing the tools and the supportive environment you need to evolve, breathe, and eventually, find your stillness.
