Meet Our Experienced Yoga Teachers
Our faculty brings decades of combined experience in the Sivananda tradition. We are not just instructors; we are fellow students on this path, dedicated to guiding you with clarity, humour, and integrity.
I am Arun Pandala, a Yoga Acharya with over 30 years of experience. My passion is to share the transformative power of yoga with compassion and humour, making it relevant for modern life.
This is Dyutima Goel, a dynamic and strongly grounded teacher with over 14 years of experience. She brings immense expertise to all our courses, from children's yoga to advanced training.
A candid shot from my "Sundays with Arun" online talk. In these sessions, we explore the deeper questions of life and what it means to be human.
A cherished photo with my own teacher. On Guru Purnima, we express gratitude to the entire lineage of masters who have preserved and passed down this sacred knowledge.
A throwback to a class from 2011. The core of our teaching has always been consistent: discipline, community, and a deep respect for the practice.
A younger Dyutima during her own TTC, studying with dedication. Every teacher is first a student, and her journey is an inspiration.
Two young women, one of them our future teacher Dyutima, during their TTC in 2011. This course was the beginning of a lifelong path.
About Meet Our Teachers
When you join our training, you are not just learning postures from a manual; you are stepping into a lineage. Whether it is our 30 years of experience or our team's grounded practice, we focus on the subtle adjustments and mental discipline that only come from years of personal practice and direct mentorship. Expect us to be hands-on, direct, and sometimes challenging, because we believe true growth requires a guide who knows the terrain.
In the modern world, it is easy to find a yoga class. It is much harder to find a teacher who embodies the practice. Our centre was established in 2004 with a single intent: to pass on the Sivananda system exactly as it was received. The images you see here are not just photos; they represent the lineage of our practice.
Why Our Approach Differs
- Continuity of Wisdom: Every teacher here was once a student in the same chairs you will sit in. Our teachers have evolved from students to guides, which means we know exactly where you are starting from and the hurdles you will face.
- Authentic Training: We do not offer certificates just to tick a box. We offer a 200-hour or 300-hour experience that demands your presence. You will learn the anatomy of a pose, yes, but more importantly, you will learn the 'why' behind the breath.
- Accountability: We hold you accountable for your practice. You will be encouraged in your discipline and supported through the inevitable frustrations of learning something new.
The Environment
Whether you are training at our South City 1 studio in Gurgaon or immersing yourself in our Palampur ashram retreat, our teaching style remains the same: steady, disciplined, and rooted in the wisdom of our masters. We believe that a good teacher is simply a student who has walked a few more miles down the road. We are here to walk that road with you.
