Authentic Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training & Immersive Retreats
Deepen your practice and discover your true potential through our traditional Sivananda yoga programs in Gurgaon and our Palampur mountain retreats.
We believe that true learning happens in a community, a *sangha*, where we can grow together. This is our advanced course group in Palampur, sharing a moment of togetherness against the backdrop of the Himalayas.
The journey into advanced asanas like Vrischikasana (Scorpion Pose) is one of patience, strength, and discipline. In our 300-Hour course, we guide you safely into these challenging postures.
A teacher's gentle guidance can make all the difference. Here, I am helping a student find the correct alignment in a seated meditation posture, ensuring the spine is erect for the free flow of *prana*.
Our training begins by honoring ancient traditions. A student offers prayers during the Ganapati Homam, a fire ceremony to remove obstacles and create a positive energy for our shared spiritual journey.
An essential part of our mountain TTC life is the silent walks through nature. These moments of quiet reflection in the serene rice fields of Palampur help calm the mind and connect us to our surroundings.
Food is a celebration of life and community. Here, we share a traditional Kerala Sadya, a feast served on banana leaves that nourishes the body and soul, bringing our spiritual family closer together.
Feeling stressed or low on energy? The practice of Pranayama, or breathing with awareness, is a powerful tool to rebalance your system, increase vitality, and bring a sense of calm and focus to your daily life.
The graduation ceremony is a sacred moment. It marks the passing of the yoga baton, where a student receives their certificate and is empowered to share the light of this ancient knowledge with others.
About Featured
Our training is not a casual weekend commitment. Whether you join our Gurgaon weekend batches or the month-long Palampur immersion, you are stepping into a gurukula lifestyle. We emphasize the sangha (community) and traditional satsang, meaning you will learn to live yoga through simple satvic meals, disciplined schedules, and daily practice, not just by reading manuals.
Traditional Sivananda Yoga Training
Yoga is a vast science of spirituality, not merely a physical exercise. Our teacher training courses (TTC) are designed to help you reconnect with yourself, moving beyond the surface of asanas into the depth of Vedanta philosophy, anatomy, and the disciplined practice of pranayama.
Choose Your Path: Gurgaon or Palampur
- Gurgaon Foundation: Perfect for city-based professionals, our 200-hour weekend TTC program in South City 1 allows you to study without disrupting your daily work-life balance. We provide everything from your student kit and uniform to satvic lunches, ensuring your weekends are dedicated to growth.
- Palampur Immersion: If you seek a deeper, focused experience, our residential Gurukula program in the Himachal mountains is designed to remove you from the distractions of the city. Here, life is simple: daily asana, meditation, forest walks, and shared community meals. It is a true ashram experience where the focus is entirely on your sadhana.
The Holistic Approach
We adhere strictly to the lineage of Sivananda masters. This means your training will encompass:
- Yoga Alliance Certification: Our 200-hour and 300-hour programs are RYT-eligible, equipping you to teach with confidence and integrity.
- The Sangha Effect: Learning happens in community. We eat together, laugh together, and support each other through the challenges of the course.
- Satvic Living: We teach you how to cleanse the body and mind through traditional kriyas (like Jal Neti) and a nourishing, vegetarian diet.
If you are ready to take the next step in your spiritual journey, come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. We do not look for perfection in postures; we look for the sincerity to practice.
