About The Gurukula Experience: Palampur Immersion
Life in our Palampur ashram isn't a vacation; it is a full, disciplined immersion. From 5:30 AM morning prayers to evening Satsang, you will follow a traditional daily rhythm that includes asanas, cleansing Kriyas, and communal living. You aren't just learning yoga here; you are living it in a supportive environment where your peers become family.
A Return to Traditional Living
When we move our practice to Palampur, we leave behind the distractions of Gurgaon. This isn't a luxury hotel stay. It is a traditional Gurukula environment where the focus remains entirely on your Sadhana. You will wake up at 5:30 AM and follow a schedule designed to purify your body and calm your mind.
The Daily Routine
Your days are structured around the four pillars of our training: Asana, Pranayama, Satsang, and Karma Yoga. You will participate in four hours of daily practice, including advanced Pranayama techniques and Kriyas like Jal Neti to clear the nasal passages. We keep the schedule tight from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, allowing no room for the usual mental clutter. You will also experience periods of Mauna (silence), which help to deepen your internal focus.
Satvic Nourishment & Community
We believe that what you eat influences your practice. You will be served simple, Satvic, vegetarian meals prepared with care, designed to keep you light and energetic for your practice. There is no refined sugar or heavy processed food here. You will eat, learn, and grow alongside your fellow students, building bonds that often last long after the training ends.
What to Expect
This course is RYT-200 eligible. Whether you are a beginner or someone who has been practicing for years, the intensity of the Palampur mountains will challenge you. You will be provided with twin-sharing accommodation and our signature yellow and white uniforms. Prepare to disconnect from your devices and reconnect with yourself.
