About Wellness Retreats
Most of our wellness events take place in open-air bamboo structures at our Chhattarpur farm, not in a closed studio. We believe the environment is part of the healing process. Whether it is a yoga session or a sound healing circle, we pair the movement with a farm-to-table meal. You will be eating ingredients harvested just a few meters away, which is our way of ensuring your physical reset is complete.
Why We Do Wellness at the Farm
When we started Edible Routes, the goal was simple: get city folks to touch the mitti (soil) and breathe. We realized that for many, the city isn't just physically exhausting, it is mentally draining. That is why our retreats are rarely just about one activity. We layer them.
What to Expect at Our Retreats
- Yoga & Movement: We host Sunday sessions that range from restorative yoga to specific workshops like 'Gut Health' where we use twists and cleansing kriyas to help with digestion. You are usually practicing on a mat with the farm view, not a wall.
- Sound Healing & Meditation: Our 'Haum' circles and sound healing events are about slowing down. We use the resonance of singing bowls, cacao ceremonies, and live music to help you move from a state of doing to a state of being.
- Nourishing Food: You cannot have a wellness retreat without proper fuel. Depending on the event, we serve probiotic-rich breakfasts or seasonal farm lunches. Everything is vegetarian, organic, and harvested either that morning or the day before.
Who This Is For
These sessions are for anyone, whether you are a pro at yoga or someone who has never touched a mat. We keep the groups intimate because we want you to actually connect with the people around you, not just sit in a crowd. We are located in the green pocket of Chhattarpur, so come prepared to get a little mud on your shoes and a lot of peace in your head.
