My Iyengar system is a rigorous, scientific methodology that treats the body as an amalgamation of body, mind, and soul. We do not teach generic movement; we teach precise alignment to stop the dissipation of your pran shakti.

I see the body as a subject that is largely unread, even by scientists. Yoga, specifically the Iyengar method, is the only science that can reach the subtlest parts of your being, your *sukshma sharir*. In my classes, I teach you how to stop the spilling of energy, your *pran shakti*, through precise alignment. We use props not as a crutch, but as a tool to take you from a limited state of mind to a limitless one, building a rock solid mind to conquer any battle in life.

Your spine is not just a stack of bones; it reflects your emotional state. A bow shaped spine, what I call a *dhanush*, is a sign of emotional blockage. I challenge my students to confront this, not by just talking, but through practice. The journey involves self reflection, or *Atma Darshan*, which can be scary, but it is the only way to address the root cause of your stiffness and pain. You are the game changer, I am here to guide you.

Many people suffer from intense pain after surgery, which is often just trapped gas. Instead of relying on painkillers, there is a yogic solution. A precisely aligned Prasarita Padottanasana, supported by a chair, can provide tremendous relief by expanding the pelvic floor and releasing this gas. This is the science Guruji B.K.S. Iyengar taught me. The right way gives results, the wrong way gives nothing.

This is Shelly, a teacher who was dependent on painkillers just to get out of bed due to an immunity disease affecting her back. After just 10 days in my medical class, she is moving freely and without pain. Her story is a testament to the fact that if you are ready to work, real healing is possible.

Even a world class athlete like Kapil Dev understands the importance of learning the basics from an experienced coach. He shares his experience at Yogakshema, highlighting that just like in cricket, yoga requires a guide who has walked the path and can teach you the fundamentals correctly. This is the foundation I provide for everyone who walks through my doors.

This is me with my Guruji, the legendary B.K.S. Iyengar. His teachings are the bedrock of everything I do. It is through his impetus and inspiration that the tree of yoga has flourished, and I am committed to carrying that legacy forward with integrity and precision.

My classes are accessible whether you are in Delhi or anywhere else in the world. I provide the same level of personal attention and correction to my online students as I do for those in the studio. As you can see here, there is no hiding behind the camera; I see you, and I will guide you.

"Yoga is a golden key which unlocks the door to peace, tranquility and joy." This quote from B.K.S. Iyengar perfectly captures the essence of our center, Yogakshema. It is more than a studio; it is a sanctuary designed for you to reconnect with your body, mind, and soul.

About Featured

Alignment is a physiological necessity, not an aesthetic preference. When your body is misaligned, you are like a beaker with a leak, constantly spilling your pran shakti. In my classes, we use intelligent props—teak bricks, belts, and chairs—to force the body into correct geometry. This stops the drainage of energy, allowing your system to move from a state of exhaustion to a reservoir of strength.

The Science of Alignment

Yoga is a precise subject. In my classes at Mandi House and online, we do not aim for superficial fitness. We focus on the sukshma sharir, or subtle body, which other forms of exercise fail to reach. Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain, stiff shoulders, or emotional blockages, the root cause is almost always a lack of precise alignment.

Why Props Are Not Optional

Students often ask if props like belts, chairs, and wall ropes are for beginners. They are not. Guruji B.K.S. Iyengar invented these tools to bridge the gap between a limited state of mind and a limitless one. If you are stiff or recovering from an injury, these props allow you to hold an asana long enough for the physiological change to happen. You stop fighting the pose and start understanding the intelligence behind it.

My Approach to Your Practice

Whether you join my offline cohorts in Delhi or our live Zoom streams, I do not tolerate mechanical movement. I see you. I provide specific verbal and hands-on corrections that ensure you are not just copying a posture but embodying it. We move with intention, focusing on the gestation period of each asana to ensure results.

We work to release the emotions that are physically trapped in your spine and chest. If you are ready to move from a place of limited movement and constant energy loss to a rock-solid, disciplined state of mind, then join me on the mat.

I do not teach yoga just to help you stretch. I teach it as a precise science passed down by my Guruji, B.K.S. Iyengar. When you step onto the mat with me, we are there to align your body, clear your energy blockages, and build a mind that is capable of conquering any battle.
