These are not mere photos; they are accounts of people who found their way back to health through the precision of the Iyengar method. Look at their journeys and see what is possible when you stop masking pain and start fixing your alignment.

This student shares her journey of feeling stronger and lighter after just 10 days in my class. She knows her problem has lasted for years, but she is confident that with practice, there will be a change, because she sees me as an inspiration who has overcome similar struggles.

After being convinced by his family, this student joined my class and now feels lighter and more confident. He understands that with perseverance, he can continue to improve his health and open up his body.

A glimpse into healing in action. Here I am walking through the class, observing and guiding students in Dandasana (Staff Pose). This personal attention is what ensures every student is on the right path.

A hybrid class in session, with students practicing both in person and online. This image shows the focus and dedication of the group as they begin their practice with a moment of quiet centering.

Here I am explaining a concept to the class while they rest in a supine position. Education is a key part of my teaching; I want you to understand the 'why' behind every movement.

Students practice a variation of Parsvottanasana (Pyramid Pose). The focus and intensity in their expressions show the dedication required to work through physical and mental blockages.

A happy moment of connection with my students after a class. The smiles show the sense of relief, accomplishment, and community that we build together at Yogakshema.

Students sit in quiet contemplation at the start of a class during our Annual Day celebration. This moment of stillness is just as important as the active asanas.

A screenshot of our Annual Day celebration held in a hybrid format. It shows our community connecting from all over the world, united by the practice of yoga.

Our Yogakshema family portrait from the 2025 Annual Day. This image captures the spirit of our community, a diverse group of individuals on a shared journey of growth.

About Student Stories & Transformations

You will notice that nobody here talks about losing weight—they talk about alignment. Whether it is a student managing chronic back pain using wall ropes or someone releasing stress through specific asanas, the thread is the same. When the body is aligned, your pran shakti stops leaking. Look closely at the props in these photos. These belts, bricks, and chairs are not crutches; they are the keys that allow your body to surrender so that healing can actually begin.

The images you see here are not 'before and after' shots for vanity. They are snapshots of a process. In my studio, we do not perform for the camera. We practice to fix the Sukshma Sharir—the subtle body—by first disciplining the physical one.

When a student comes to me with a slipped disc or chronic shoulder stiffness, they are often looking for a quick fix. Iyengar yoga is not a quick fix; it is a science. You see students using ropes or trestles in these galleries not because they are weak, but because these tools provide the exact leverage needed to bypass the muscle memory of pain.

If you see a student smiling in a restorative pose, it is not just because they are resting. It is because they have finally released a physical blockage that had been holding them hostage for years. Whether you are joining my hybrid classes online or stepping into the Yogakshema studio in Delhi, the goal remains identical: precision. We do not guess with your health. We align. We observe. We correct. If you are ready to stop fighting your own body and start understanding how it works, you have found your place.

I do not believe in superficial yoga. At Yogakshema, I teach you to read your body's signals—the pain in your lower back or the tightness in your shoulders—and correct the alignment that caused it. My role is to show you how to be your own healer, using the precision of the Iyengar method.
